We are the Coasties! The Central Coast Mariners are back at polytec Stadium on Friday night for their final home game of the season against Brisbane Roar.
Get your tickets and get ready to celebrate, because it also marks goalkeeper Andrew Redmayne’s 300th A-League game.
If you’ve followed the league at all over the years, you already know his name – if not for the games, then for that FIFA World Cup shootout in 2022. The save that sent Australia through. It’s one of those moments that stuck, whether you’re a proper fan or just an occasional supporter.
Now he’s hitting 300, and it’s happening right here at Our Paradise. This is the kind of milestone that doesn’t come around often, and trust us, it won’t be the same watching it on your phone.
So if you’ve been thinking about getting to a game, lock this one in.
A-League Milestone at Gosford
Three hundred games is a long time to stay at this level, and it says a lot about consistency and longevity.
This is especially true for Redmayne, whose career hasn’t exactly been straightforward.
He’s moved clubs, worked his way back into starting spots, had to prove himself more than once.
That’s what makes 300 games such a huge milestone for this A-League legend. It’s not just time served – it’s staying fit, being selected, dealing with form dips, pressure, travel, and still being trusted to do your job year after year.

Get Behind the Central Coast Mariners
If you’ve been following along this season, you’ll know the second half has had a very different feel.
Under Warren Moon, who was appointed Head Coach in early January, there’s been a noticeable shift. The Mariners found their rhythm again – building confidence, picking up momentum, and giving locals a team to get behind again.
Which makes the news of his departure bittersweet! It was announced that Moon will depart the club at the end of this season, returning to Brisbane for family reasons. He’ll remain in charge as the Mariners continue their push for finals, making this final home game not just about the result, but also a chance to acknowledge the impact he’s had in a short time.
CCM A-League Women’s Squad
The women’s season has now wrapped, and it comes off the back of a pretty big return to the league.
Yep, our women’s team returned in 2023/24 after 14 years out of the comp – and after a fairytale win in the 2024/25 A-League championship in the 2024/25 season, expectations were always going to be higher this time around. So while they didn’t make finals this season, it wasn’t a case of dropping off completely. There were still strong patches, competitive performances, and enough there to show last year wasn’t a one-off.
The conversation’s no longer just about being back in the league – it’s about pushing deeper into it.
One Last Home Game for the Central Coast Mariners in 2026
This is your last chance to get behind our team on home turf.
Fill the stands. Make some noise. Give the boys something to finish on – and give Warren the send off he deserves.
This is one of the few genuinely local things we’ve got at this level, and it only works if people get behind it.
As a new media partner, it’s something we’re especially proud to step into. We’ve backed the Mariners for years – same as a lot of Coasties – so making it official was an easy move. We’re keen to be part of what’s next, to follow along as this season wraps up and see where things head in 2026 and beyond.
