Your #supportlocal boss ladies

Coasties Magazine
Tash Robertson and Nikki Tiedeman

Having taken over from the fearless founder, Amy in April 2022, Tash and Nikki got stuck straight into life at the helm of the #supportlocal movement.

They have worked and supported each other as travel agents, friends, digital marketing specialists, motherhood and most recently, deep diving into becoming the owners of this exciting, successful and popular publication.

Both share a strong passion for small business and look forward to adding their flair and edginess to what Amy worked so hard to create, growing the brand while continuing to support local businesses across the Central Coast.

Tash, a mother of two, wife, Google behavioural specialist, content curator, SEO sister and the most social of butterflies is hugely passionate about what this new opportunity opens for her. Working with hundreds of local businesses as a Digital Marketing Specialist has allowed her to immerse herself in all kinds of industries, learning how to best support each business based on their pain points and target demographic.

Coasties Mag offers a range of solutions to businesses of all shapes and sizes and she truly believes that this will align with her current offerings to help increase exposure to businesses on the Central Coast.

Nikki, a boy-Mum of two, digital marketing specialist, sales & partnership manager and queen of slowing things down is an absolute powerhouse. Having successfully set up her business, Slow Coaching Co and connecting with local business owners through her role as a Digital Marketing Specialist, it became clear to her early on that there needed to be more streamlined marketing options that truly added value to businesses. Bringing a sense of calm and helping people to understand the ‘how’, Nikki has seen incredible success.

Together, Nikki and Tash have some incredible ideas to take Coasties Mag to the next level and grow the Central Coast region alongside their overwhelmingly supportive audience.

Original boss lady, Founder of Coasties Mag

Amy Nelmes Bissett

In September 2020, with little more than a wealth of experience and knowledge, and an unwavering self of unease at the battle so many local businesses were facing, Amy launched Coastes Mag.

The intention, simple, #supportlocal.

And boy did she nail it.

Our forever Founder, we will forever be grateful for her expertise, support and passion which drives us to continue and grow what she built in such a short period of time.

A massive part of Amy’s legacy is the inception of the Coasties Card. This is a program created to drive our Central Coast community to shop small and shop local.

The Coasties Card

A simple concept – become a member and save. Like, really save. With over 180+ local businesses already offering discounts and that number rising week by week, this is something worth getting behind.

Businesses can get involved by offering Coasties Card Members a discount on their products and services and anyone with a local, Central Coast based address can become a member.
