If building your dream home on the Central Coast is on the wish list, there’s no better time than now.
And who better to do it with than the local construction power couple Jon and Lyndsey Clarke from Hotondo Homes.
From securing the foundations to helping you select the furniture, the Clarke’s and their devoted, qualified team will bring to life a unique and timeless residential masterpiece that suits the whole family.
Their expertise is unrivalled in the region, helping both new and returned clients, from the Central Coast and afar, fall in love with their brand-new home.
“What we encourage is starting from scratch with us. We try to be a one stop shop. We have mortgage brokers we recommend and work with who are really skilled in their field and great at pushing through the trickier finance approvals,” Lyndsey told Coasties.
“If someone wants to build their dream home on the Central Coast and they have no land or finance, we can help them with all of that.
“We like to work closely with clients to achieve their dream, exactly what they are visualising. Ultimately, if the client wants the works, we can hand over a house that is totally ready to live, landscaping and driveway complete, even completely furnished. People could walk in with a bag of clothes and they’re good to go.”
Choosing to build with Hotondo Homes Central Coast means you will not only walk away with a stunning abode, but also a lifelong friendship with the team.
Jon and Lyndsey oversee the running of the business and have created a team of professionals who really know their stuff.
Draftsman Henry will take care of the construction sketch before estimator Dan does the pricing with clients, suppliers, and local tradespeople.
Supervisors Dean and Mark are in charge during the build while Leanne operates admin at the front desk. There is even a crew of Hotondo carpenters who personally work on each home.
The very friendly, tight-knit crew each play a significant part in the journey to seeing the final product delivered.
“The team is our biggest selling point, and we get a lot of feedback on our staff being sensational, which we are hugely proud of,” Lyndsey said.
What else distinguishes Hotondo Homes from its competitors is the value for freedom of choice.
Clients can customise their desired specifications and make variations to floorplans without any extra charge.
They can fit out their property with high-quality fixtures from a range of premium suppliers to guarantee a stylish, contemporary finish suited to their tastes.
That way, it appears less like a conventional project home and more like a bespoke residence.
In fact, the team has won the HIA Hunter Kitchen, Bathroom and Housing Project Home Award for the last four years straight, and in three of those years, achieved the HIA Hunter Project Home of the Year, proving they are leading professionals in their craft.
With so many different layouts, there’s a home for everyone to love.
“More than anything, we give guidance. We don’t force people down certain avenues. We like using our plans as blueprints to start with and then tweaking it into whatever people are after. They’re good plans and a lot of people fall in love with one,” Lyndsey said.
“Kitchens are massively customised. We encourage people to think outside the box. I think we’re pretty good at taking expensive-looking things and coming up with our own version on a budget.
“It’s very rare that we get houses that look the same.”
As well as keeping up with the intense property boom of late, and two young kids in tow, Jon and Lyndsey regularly support the local community through their business.
On June 16, they are teaming up with Coasties for the ultimate trivia night to raise funds for Central Coast charity Because We Care Boutique, which helps women in need.
“One thing Jon and I always wanted to do is use our business as a platform to be involved and give back to the community because we’ve lived here our whole lives,” Lyndsey said.
“We try to do a lot. We know the place like the back of our hand, and I think that’s why we were more inclined to jump on board with local charities. Local is important.”
