Tucked away in Mangrove Mountain’s lush bushland is the ultimate family getaway and wellness retreat for anyone needing to reconnect and rediscover.

Amid the cradle of Mangrove Mountain’s lush bushland, a hidden gem awaits those seeking more than a mere escape. The Central Coast’s latest getaway destination is Ironbark Ranch Co., a luxurious farmhouse style property sprawling across 105 acres, standing as a testament to the healing power of nature and the profound connections it nurtures.

Ironbark beckons families wanting to get away to disconnect from the hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature and themselves. When it’s not on offer as an incredible holiday escape, visitors can enjoy bespoke wellness retreats for successful women and ‘mumpreneurs’, or workshops and self development days for men and teenagers.

Spearheading this destination’s mission is Sascha Jones, a former globetrotting businesswoman turned facilitator of transformation. With her holistic approach centered on addressing anxiety, trauma, and burnout, Sascha has woven a tapestry of experiences that promises families the ultimate holiday, and retreat guests an opportunity for profound growth and transformation.  Sascha and her partner, Clint Newcombe, moved to the property, which is surrounded completely by the Popran National Park, 13 years ago. Clint had purchased what Sascha describes as a modest “lean-to style love shack,” which quickly became the bricks and mortar foundation of their dream, to together create a wellness space to share with others.

Sascha grew up in a family owned and run ski lodge in the Snowy Mountains, and Clint’s parents own a tennis ranch in Texas, so their experiences have certainly played a part in their destiny to offer and host nature-inspired experiences that, to put simply, make you feel better.

Over the years the pair have poured their heart and soul into three renovations of the property, clearly inspired by Sascha’s background working in fashion and luxury brands, to create a stunning sanctuary that is now ready to be shared. At the heart of Ironbark Ranch Co. lies a dream – a dream Sascha has nurtured for years. “I always wanted to share this beautiful location with others,” Sascha told Coasties Mag.

“It’s been a sanctuary for my family, and I wanted others to experience the healing and growth that this place offers.”

Ironbark Ranch, nestled between Sydney and Newcastle, became the embodiment of this vision. From the house’s warm heart—the spacious kitchen and dining area—to the living room with expansive views, Ironbark Ranch invites visitors to share meaningful moments. A games room, complete with everything you need to make your family forget about the TV, offers playful indulgence.

But Sascha’s aspirations extend beyond a tranquil retreat. The ranch is poised to host intimate wellness luxury retreats, where busy women can embark on profound journeys of self-love, health, mindset, and empowerment. These carefully curated experiences, facilitated by Sascha and guest practitioners, promise healing and transformation. Whether it’s a day of rejuvenation or an immersive two-day retreat, Sascha caters to a spectrum of needs. Group gatherings blend healing with connection, while bespoke one-on-one retreats guide women toward deep change in specific areas of their lives. The ranch’s versatile spaces, from the living room adaptable to yoga sessions to the poolside basking in the sun’s warmth, set the stage for these transformations.

“The hinterland experience is unique,” Sascha emphasised. “It’s a different kind of healing, with the land and the bush embracing you.”

As Sascha’s sanctuary opens its doors to those yearning for transformation, her passion for wellness and love for the property intertwine. Ironbark Ranch becomes not just a retreat but a conduit for guests to surrender to the present moment, shed their burdens, and emerge lighter and rejuvenated.

“I want others to experience that surrender,” Sascha said.

“When you step onto this property, your shoulders drop three inches automatically.”

Indeed, Sascha’s journey—from bustling businesswoman to holistic healer and retreat facilitator—is a testament to the power of transformation and the profound impact one person can have on the lives of many. Ironbark Ranch stands as a testament to her unwavering commitment to guiding others toward healing, growth, and the simple yet profound joy of being present.
