If there’s one thing the Central Coast does well, it’s backing big ideas with even bigger hearts – and it means we’re treated to new openings on the Central Coast pretty regularly, each one thoughtfully created and genuinely exciting to experience.
These openings tend to feel less like “new business” and more like long-term community investments. We love discovering the people and places adding fresh energy to our neighbourhoods.
This wave of newness is all different, all local, and all worth knowing about. So if you love discovering what’s new (and who’s behind it), this is for you.
What’s fresh on the Coast this WINTER?
P3 Recovery, Erina
The Central Coast is about to gain a purpose-built and dedicated recovery space in P3 Recovery, bringing a full-spectrum wellness experience to the heart of Erina. Think world-class contrast therapy, infrared and traditional saunas, compression therapy, a hyperbaric chamber, and restorative cold-to-hot immersion designed to reset body and mind.
From ice plunge to mineral warmth, it’s a purpose-built ritual space for recovery, performance, and deep exhale energy.
More than just a wellness facility, it signals a shift in how locals can support training, stress relief, and everyday well-being without leaving the Coast.

Wild Way Studio, Long Jetty
If your child loves getting creative, painting absolutely everything in sight and diving headfirst into messy play, Wild Way Studio is about to become your new favourite discovery.
Created by owner Claire, this immersive creative play studio has been thoughtfully designed to encourage hands-on exploration through floor-to-ceiling painting, clay modelling, sensory play and even beginner building activities using real tools.
But unlike the loud, overstimulating play spaces parents often brace themselves for, Wild Way has a calm, boutique feel with intentionally small class sizes that make the experience just as enjoyable for grown-ups, too.
Alongside regular creative play sessions, the studio also offers mums and bubs classes, workshops and children’s parties, all built around Claire’s passion for making creativity accessible, welcoming and fun for every child.
334 The Entrance Rd, Long Jetty

Luminary Soul Space, Long Jetty
In a world that often feels rushed and disconnected, Luminary Soul Space is creating room for something different. This warm and welcoming community hub has been designed to foster meaningful connections, personal growth, and shared experiences, bringing people together through workshops, classes, gatherings, creative events, and spiritually inspired offerings.
The space is also available for local practitioners, artisans, and business owners to hire, providing a nurturing environment to share their passions and connect with the community. From intimate circles and wellness experiences to vibrant pop-up markets showcasing local makers and small businesses, Luminary Soul Space is all about encouraging people to explore new experiences, support one another and live more intentionally.
With a focus on community, creativity and personal fulfilment, it’s a beautiful new addition for those seeking connection, inspiration and a sense of belonging on the Central Coast.

inLIFE Wellness, Gosford
Looking for a fitness studio that does it all? Opening on Victoria Street, East Gosford this August, inLIFE Wellness is bringing a fresh approach to movement and wellbeing, with reformer Pilates, strength training, stretch classes, mat Pilates and hot classes powered by infrared technology, all under one roof.
Founded by Alex, whose Woy Woy studio has grown so quickly that a second location became a necessity, the new East Gosford space is designed to be your complete fitness solution, eliminating the need for multiple memberships or a traditional gym. Conveniently located amongst local cafes and shops with plenty of parking nearby, the studio will offer both morning and evening classes to suit busy lifestyles. Better still, one membership gives members access to both the East Gosford and Woy Woy studios, unlocking an even bigger timetable of classes. Foundation memberships are available now ahead of the August 1 opening.

TimeZone, Erina Fair
Game on, Coasties! Timezone has officially landed at Erina Fair, bringing laser tag, shortlane bowling, arcade games and the wildly addictive ColourGrid challenge to the Central Coast. Designed for kids, teens and fun-loving adults alike, it’s quickly become one of the hottest new family entertainment destinations in the region.
Full disclosure: I’ve already taken my kids four times, and we’re completely hooked on ColourGrid. Despite our best efforts, we’ve only managed to make it to level 18 of 30 so far! Whether you’re planning a family outing, school holiday activity, birthday celebration, or simply looking for something fun to do on a rainy day, Timezone Erina is well worth adding to your must-visit list.
The Treasure Trove, Long Jetty
Slotting nicely into Long Jetty’s vintage strip, The Treasure Trove is your destination for secondhand clothing, toys, books, shoes, homewares and more, all secondhand, plus handmade gifts to round it out. Who doesn’t love giving pre-loved stuff a second life rather than letting it end up in landfill! And the bonus here is that it’s not just a jumble of donations. The selection feels curated – while still being affordable. It joins Central Coast Antiques & Collectables, Interiorwise and Bowerbird as part of what’s now being called the Vintage Trail, so if op-shopping is your Saturday morning activity, you’ve got four stops now instead of three.

Captured Studio, Tuggerah
Central Coast creatives have been pretty excited for this one – a luxurious content studio with a truly versatile aesthetic. Captured Studio opened in August, all arched alcoves, microcement walls and a cyclorama that looks flawless on camera. It’s north-facing too, so the natural light is already incredible. Inside you’ll find a change room, makeup station, paper rolls, a lounge set, plus industrial and portable setups if you want more edge than a plain backdrop. Hire the space and run your own shoot, or book one of their in-house photographers if you’d rather stand in front of the camera instead of behind it. Another solid one for the Coast’s growing content scene.

The Water Affect, Erina
Get ready for a calmer way into the water for neurodivergent kids at The Water Affect in Erina. This swim gym has been built specifically for neurodivergent children, with pools designed to dial down the usual noise and glare of a normal swim centre.
Classes run from babies and me through to aqua tots, learn to swim and swim move therapy, with adult classes on offer too. Every child works from a personalised learning profile rather than a standard lesson plan, and the approach is built on zero judgment – stimming, fidgeting, moving around or needing a break is all just part of how the session works, not something to manage or apologise for. NDIS plans are catered for as well.

Bailey Nelson, Erina Fair
Time to update your specs or finally book that eye test you’ve been putting off? Popular Aussie eyewear brand Bailey Nelson has opened at Erina Fair, bringing well-designed frames, sunglasses and contacts together with in-store optometry that feels personal, not clinical.
They offer full bulk-billed eye tests, with optometrists who make you feel right at home, plus a straightforward pricing model (frames and standard lenses from $189). You can try on a few styles, get proper advice and walk out with everything sorted – no overthinking required.
And being at Erina Fair makes it even easier. Chances are you’re already there for something else, so it’s a simple one to tick off while you’re in and out.

Relapse Studio, West Gosford
Creatives, this one’s for you. Relapse Studio is a purpose-built space for photographers, videographers and content creators, set up to make shoots easier without needing to head down to Sydney. The standout is the cyclorama – the biggest on the Central Coast – giving you a clean, seamless backdrop for everything from brand shoots to product work.
Beyond that, it’s the practical stuff that makes a difference. There’s a kitchen studio for food content, a podcast setup, and co-working areas you’ll actually want to use. Whether you’re shooting solo or with a team, it’s a solid local option when you need a proper setup.

The Uncommon Cloth Collective, Long Jetty
Rent-a-rack has officially arrived on the Coast, and it feels right at home in Long Jetty. The Uncommon Cloth Collective is all about pre-loved fashion, local sellers and giving great pieces a second life – which feels pretty relevant right now.
We hear you – the words ‘rising cost of living’ has us twitching too – but we do love a good tip to beat it, so finding ways to refresh your wardrobe without blowing the budget just makes sense. You can browse racks from different sellers and walk out feeling like you’ve scored while supporting a more conscious way of shopping.
House of Pickle Tuggerah, Tuggerah
You’ve probably seen pickleball everywhere and thought, “I should give that a go.” Well, now you can, with House of Pickle bringing the full pickleball experience to the Central Coast. This brand-new, indoor purpose-built facility boasts four indoor courts, a fully air-conditioned space and a sports bar feel that makes it just as good for a post-game hang as it is for a hit. There’s a licensed bar, big screen for live sport, pro shop and plenty of parking – whether you’re playing, watching or just tagging along.
The Entrance Pilates Studio, The Entrance
A new reformer Pilates studio has opened in The Entrance, and they’re making it easier than ever to fit movement into your day. With small group classes, you’re not just another body in the room – your form will get proper attention here (and your core will know about it the next day). There’s a mix of sessions including Mums & Bubs, men-only classes, Private Lessons and Golden Girls for over 50s, plus the option for 24-hour on-demand access outside of class hours.
The Little Lane Play Village & Cafe Tuggerah, Tuggerah
Our fave indoor play village has opened a second location in Tuggerah, bringing all the magic you know from Erina, but with gorgeous new spaces to explore. Little imaginations will come alive as kids move between the surf tower and the talent show stage, roleplay as a mechanic or police officer, or spend a moment in the calm corner (provided mum hasn’t snuck in there first!). There’s plenty here to keep the kids busy, which means you can actually sit down for a coffee (grown-ups get one free with entry) while the kids are playing nearby – and someone else is handling the mess. Bliss!
Flip Out Tuggerah, Tuggerah
The Coast’s newest high-energy indoor play spot has landed at Tuggerah – and we love that it’s not a copy+paste of the West Gosford franchise. There are still trampolines, obvs, but here it’s more about the extras – epic slides, ninja and ropes courses, climbing walls, soft play zones and even a basketball court. It’s an easy go-to for burning off energy, especially on rainy days or when everyone’s climbing the walls at home and you’re determined not to give in to more screen time. Plenty of movement, noise and at least one cry of “just five more minutes” before you manage to leave.
Anytime Fitness Tumbi Umbi
The brand-spanking-new Anytime Fitness opening in Tumbi Umbi this April is shaping up to be so much more than your standard gym. Alongside state-of-the-art Life Fitness & Hammer Strength equipment, functional training zones and all-new weights and cardio machines, they’re also introducing AF Recovery – a first for the Central Coast. It’s all about balancing training with proper recovery, in a club built for everyone.

Avoca Pets, Avoca Beach
The newest little gem in Avoca, you feel the charm the second you walk in. The shelves are lined with premium treats, stylish leads, tough toys and all the quirky, can’t-leave-without-it goodies that spark joy for both pets and their humans. Owner Greg has handpicked every single item with love and seriously high standards – if he wouldn’t give it to his own dog, it simply doesn’t make the cut.

More than a shop, it’s become a cosy little community hub. Dogs trot straight to the treat jars, kids point out the novelty accessories, and locals linger a little longer than they planned, catching up with Greg or each other. With a focus on quality, sustainability and supporting local makers, Avoca Pets feels like a natural fit for the neighbourhood. If your furry friend deserves something special (and let’s be honest, they always do), this is the spot to wander in and explore.

It’s not just about getting fitter, but also about feeling strong, grounded, and alive.

Set on her tranquil property, the studio features an ice bath, spa, traditional sauna, and magnesium pool, all designed to supercharge recovery and wellbeing. With group training set to kick off next year, the waitlist is now open. Classes will be kept intentionally small so that focus can be kept on form, personalised support and allow for peaceful recovery sessions. The ENRG Space is where locals go to rebuild, re-energise and reconnect with themselves.

Liberté Pilates, Wamberal
After more than two decades in the Pilates game, Kristy Curran knew exactly what kind of space she wanted to create – and that’s how Liberté Pilates was born. The Norah Head studio quickly earned a loyal following, and now she’s bringing that same inclusive, feel-good energy to a second space in Wamberal. More room, more classes, the same welcoming vibe Coasties have come to love.

If you’ve been doing Pilates for years, or you’re just keen to see what the fuss is all about, Liberté offers Reformer and Mat Pilates classes to suit all fitness levels. Kristy’s philosophy is simple: Pilates should be accessible to everyone, no matter your age, experience, or background.
The Wamberal studio, like its Norah Head counterpart, is warm, inclusive and community-minded; a space where you can build strength, improve flexibility, and find joy in movement. With small, intimate class sizes, you’ll get the personalised support you need (and none of that intimidating gym energy).
Who knows – you might just find the community you’ve been looking for.

The first of its kind on the Central Coast, The Little Lane is a make-believe town built just for kids – complete with an animal hospital, salon, supermarket and more – all perfectly sized for little humans with big imaginations.

Designed in collaboration with early years educators, the 10 themed play zones are all about creative, open-ended play for kiddos aged 1-7 (and a little breather for the grown-ups). The onsite café means you can sit back with a coffee while the kids run the town – literally. You’ll also find highchairs, pram parking, and a parent-friendly layout that makes the whole experience feel easy. And when the session’s done? You don’t have to clean up a single thing.
The Little Lane is calm, clean, and purpose-built by a Coastie mum who just gets it.
