Just in! Australia’s largest water play park has been confirmed at opening in Lake Macquarie in 2023 and it’s set to be a showstopper.
The aqua park will be found on the grounds of the former Morisset Golf Club, found just over the regional boarder from the Central Coast to Lake Macquarie.
It will feature up to eight water slides, two water dumpers, a large run-through sprinkler, a mini lazy river and up to 20 ten-feet high sprinklers shaped like leaves and flowers.
It’s part of a new $235million development, which will also see the arrival of a brand-new 30,000-person concert venue, slick new cafes and restaurants, and a fancy new hotel.

Currently, completion date is earmarked for 2023, with it currently only in the planning stages. Building is set to start by the end of the year.
