Adventure into North Avoca and you’ll find The Boy & The Rose, a perfect pocket of a cafe that has all the health and all the happy vibes…

Food

The search is over. We’ve found the best acai bowl on the Coast. Whipped to perfection, sprinkled with coconut, emblazoned with berries and finished off with edible flowers, it looks too good to eat. But you will eat it and it will change your world, guaranteed. Or your morning, at the very least.

But it’s not just super-health smoothie bowls on the menu. For those who prefer to keep it savoury in the morning, there’s also all the classics: Avo toast, eggs on toast, and bacon and egg rolls.

Drinks

Try the juices. Seriously, the multicoloured, nutritionally-packed juices at The Boy & The Rose are everything. Our pick is the beetroot-based Sunburn.

The Other Stuff

It’s pretty child-friendly here, and the kids’ milkshakes are a real winner. There’s seating both indoors and outdoors. But it is a busy spot on the weekend, so pre-book if you’re planning a visit during peak times. And a shout out to the team for having their eye on locally-sourced produce.
