This New Year’s Eve, The Beachcomber Hotel & Resort, aka The Beachie, is set to deliver an unforgettable and arguably the Coast’s BEST lakeside celebration for both families and partygoers. And, let’s be honest, with two sets of fireworks, how can they go wrong? From 6pm, entry for kids is free and there will be tunes from Prestige Inc, with the family-friendly (also read parents of small children) portion of the evening wrapping up with the 9pm fireworks lighting up Budgewoi lake.

Central Coast Mariners NYE Match, polytec Stadium, Gosford
Say farewell to 2025 and hello to 2026 all while cheering on our mighty Mariners. A double header versus Brisbane Roar see our women kick off at 415pm and the men’s match kicks off at 7pm. The celebrations will continue after the full-time whistle with fireworks. Hot tip – these are best enjoyed from inside the stadium. So, gather your gang and get ready to enjoy a New Year’s Eve packed with goals, cheers, and spectacular views.

There’s no doubt that home games are always crowd pleasers, but when they are held at our iconic polytec Stadium, it’s just an added reminder of how lucky we are to call the Coast home.

New Year’s Eve Family Race Day – The Entertainment Grounds, Gosford
Off and racing from 12pm though to 5:30pm, this family-friendly race day is FREE for all local Coast residents. In true Entertainment Grounds style punters can enjoy live horse racing and food trucks. Plus the kiddies will love the free face painting, a heap of kids activities not to mention the petting zoo! Yes, there is even going to be a petting zoo.

Picture yourself kid free and belting out, at the top of your lungs the tunes of your youth. With all the biggest bangers you know and love from the 80s, 90s and early 2000s, we sense that there’ll be some sensational dance moves to match the collective chorus of singing happening too. The Central Coast Council is putting on TWO incredible firework spectaculars again this year.
Gosford Waterfront: Enjoy a family-friendly event at Leagues Club Park with live music, street food heaps of kids activities and a 9pm fireworks display over Brisbane Water.
The Entrance Memorial Park: From 6pm, this free event features live performances, food trucks, and amusements, peaking in an awe-inspiring fireworks finale at 9pm.
With this variety of events and so many more, the Central Coast ensures there’s no shortage of ways to ring in the New Year in style.
