The new look Central Coast Leagues Club has undergone a multimillion dollar revamp and trust us when we say, it’s got something to keep everyone happy.
The old carpet’s been ripped up, the dated furniture is gone and the feeling that you could be in any old club in Australia now a mere memory at Central Coast Leagues Club at Gosford, thanks to a multi-million dollar facelift that’s about to make a whole lot of Coasties very excited to call this their new local.
Following the incredible revitalisation of Gossy watering holes turned award winning food and beverage hotspots like Hotel Gosford and the Railway Hotel, the new Leagues Club is giving locals more of what they deserve: a hub of quality hospitality options with a big dose of classy coastal style.
Grab a morning coffee or savour an afternoon sip at Seed + Vine, which transforms from a cafe in the early morning to a wine bar as the day unfolds. Or treat yourself to a beer and watch your favourite sport broadcast live on the enormous nine metre screen at The Arena sports bar (which, just quietly, boasts a whopping 80 beer taps – the record number for a bar in NSW outside of Sydney).

In addition to the incredible Peking Garden Chinese Restaurant, the Club is now home to Wildwood Dining, a share-style dining experience where you can indulge in some top-notch, locally sourced produce prepared by seriously talented chefs on show in their ‘theatrical kitchen’. And yes, families, you CAN bring the kids to date night – because there’s a kids menu and playground right next to your dining space – cheers to that!

The Club’s CEO Edward Camilleri candidly told Coasties the Club was ready for a serious makeover.
“It was fairly tired, it really needed a change in direction and with Gosford city transforming, our Club will now be up there,” he said.
“What we’re now offering the community is really a world class facility – this transformation looks amazing, from the minute you walk in, you can feel it. Even the faces on our staff dropped when they first saw the new look; we know people will really enjoy what we’ve done.”
We’re happy to say there’s also a strong focus on supporting local: Central Coast brewers Six Strings, Bay Road, Block n Tackle and Hawkesbury Brewing Co are all behind the bar, and local distillers Soul Vodka, Distillery Botanica, Amber Lane and Steinbok are all on the drinks list as well.

With the population in Gosford expected to keep growing (just take a look at the 17 construction cranes currently taking up residence on the local skyline), the Club’s in good hands for the future with Camilleri at the helm.
After almost three decades running Revesby Workers Club in Sydney, he knows how to make the locals proud of their Club.
“When you come in you’ll feel relaxed and comfortable – we’ve opened up what was previously a big box. Now there are magnificent views across the park, the cool summer breeze comes through bringing the balmy Coastal weather into the venue making it a place where people can feel really relaxed, enjoy themselves, and feel a part of a club they can be proud of.”
Camilleri boasted that the architecturally designed revamp and modern, stylish finishes were a bold vision that he knew would work.
“The style of food that we’re putting on is outstanding: we’ve got chefs who have worked all around the world, even in Michelin Star restaurants overseas, bringing their skills to the Coast. This is now a really high standard club, ready for the future.”
Coasties can reveal this is just stage one of the Club’s upgrades, with more to come in the new year.
