You’re officially invited to one of our fave festive traditions, the Avoca Beachside Markets Twilight Markets, returning for its 9th year in 2025. This balmy arvo-into-evening celebration brings the community together over creativity, culture & Christmas cheer, making it a must-do event on the Central Coast festive calendar.

Taking place on the fourth Sunday of each month, the Avoca Beachside Markets already nail the #supportlocal vibe with their strong focus on shopping small, sustainability and eco-friendly practices. But when December rolls in, their Christmas Twilight Markets really take things up a notch. From 4-9pm on Saturday 6 December 2025, Heazlett Park Foreshore transforms into a buzzing, lantern-lit festival featuring 100+ stalls showcasing handmade gifts, homewares, art, local produce, and one-of-a-kind Christmas gifts you won’t find in the big shops.

It’s your chance to shop small, meet the makers, and tick off your gift list without the frantic shopping centre carpark energy or contributing to the already well-lined pockets of those big retailers.

Avoca Beachside Markets 2025 Twilight Edition

As the sun dips, the whole foreshore comes alive. Twinkling lights overhead, tunes from local musos drifting on the breeze, and the gentle hum of Coasties catching up and chilling out. Wander through local artisan stalls and meet the clever and talented creators and makers behind each piece. Hot tip: grab their business cards or follow them on socials so you’re sorted for gifting inspo all year round (or just casually send screenshots to your family whenever they post something you want… subtlety is overrated!)

This is a twilight experience like no other, all the joy and none of the stress. An evening under the stars filled with shopping, good food, live music and pure community spirit. All in a space that’s inclusive, accessible, safe and family-friendly (pups included).

Food, drink, treats & Santa

Alongside the 100-plus stalls, you’ll find international food trucks, dessert vendors and pop-up bars from Six String Brewing Co., Sipps Margaritas and Pants Off Gin. The legends at Star 104.5 will have their All Stars on site with plenty of fun activities for the kids, plus there’s a dedicated children’s area, entertainment, roving singers and – of course – a special visit from the big man himself, Santa! Because what’s a Christmas event without the guest of honour?

Central Coast markets with live music

As the sun sets, the festival springs to life with a spectacular lineup of live performances. Fairplay Entertainment promises a show of talented musicians, buskers, and entertainers featuring Joel Leggett, DJ Moody Tiger Pants, Ethan Beckton, Pulse and Joy Project Choir that will no doubt make this a night to remember.

So… all that’s left to do is come along!  Come and hang out under the stars with your families and support your local region’s events, artists, tourism and culture and buy mindfully this year.

The Avoca Twilight Market isn’t just a market – it’s an occasion. A tradition. A night where locals and visitors wander by the lagoon with something delicious in hand, pick up thoughtful gifts made right here on the Coast, and soak up the easygoing, summery magic we all love.
