Discover Gosford
Welcome to the Coast’s most vibrant hub – Gosford! In our latest summer issue of Coasties Mag we teamed up with Love Central Coast to showcase all that Gosford has to offer and enjoy some Gossy good times this summer.
As the gateway to the Coast, she’s been quietly experiencing a thrilling transformation of urban growth of late, with her own brewery, waterside bars, stadium, racecourse, athletics ground, velodrome, open-air swimming pool, sailing club and collection of small, boutique businesses setting up shop.
Local families and visitors can look forward to the new state-of-the-art Gosford Regional Library due for completion in 2025, promising a modern, multi-functional community space perfect for all ages. Also coming in mid 2025 is the highly anticipated 5 star hotel, voco ® Gosford, which will offer stylish accommodation, a podium-level pool with swim-up bar, the region’s tallest rooftop bar and a dining precinct. These two newcomers will join the ranks of the already-revamped Central Coast Leagues Club and Gosford RSL, which both offer great dining and entertainment options and have fast become popular social hubs.

What to do in Gosford
Gosford is oozing summer vibes and brimming with reasons to visit, so here’s what we’d suggest you get up to while in town. Show your true Coastie colours and cheer on our Mariners at Industree Group Stadium or bring the kids to enjoy Pixar Putt an open-air mini-golf experience that tees off in December. Catch a gig down at Drifters Wharf because, seriously, what could be better than live music by the water? Marvel at performing arts and be entertained at the Coast’s centre of culture and inclusion, the FunHaus Factory. Don’t miss an exhibition at the Gosford Regional Gallery and while there take a stroll through the serene Edogawa Gardens.
Dive head first into the vibrant dining and bar scene, which we promise will not disappoint. The south end of Mann Street is home to Noodl Street Food Bar, South End Social and Parlour Lane Whiskey and Wine Bar. Around the corner, you’ll find the laid-back Bay Rd Brewing. And, if breweries are your thing then definitely don’t miss Big Little Brewing in North Gosford. Whilst on the northern end of Mann Street you have bánh mì worth travelling for at An Lac Bake House and Gossy’s gastro (and iconic) pubs, the Railway Hotel and Hotel Gosford which bring a mix of heritage charm and contemporary hospitality with modern refurbished accommodation.
