There’s something satisfying about walking into a place that’s well and truly having its moment. That’s Little Miss in Terrigal, and you can feel it straight away. Confident, bold and completely at ease in the spotlight – she flirts shamelessly with the Mediterranean, but is very much a Terrigal girl at heart.
Sure, we adored her in West Gosford, but she was never meant to stay landlocked. Her coastal Mediterranean vibe makes more sense as a Terrigal restaurant, with the beach just 30 seconds away.

Little Miss now calls the historic Terrigal Post Office building home, and we have to say, it suits her.
High ceilings and grand columns speak to her ambition, while warm and layered interiors match her energy. Soft arches and curves, and those original hardwood floors. Terracotta tones and textured tiles. Floor-to-ceiling sheers that soften the light like a real-life filter. It’s perfection.

For a more relaxed meal, head to The Glass House, their dining room extension, all brick, greenery and cosy corners. And if salty air is a non-negotiable, grab a table out front with ocean views. Come straight from the beach, no one’s judging… they’re probably envious, if anything.
Of course, it’s more than just a pretty space. The food’s the reason people keep coming back – and it’s not just us raving about it.
In February, Little Miss was one of only four Central Coast restaurants awarded a 2026 Australian Good Food Guide Chef Hat. Huge recognition for the team, and a pretty special moment for a restaurant that backed itself to grow.

Co-Owner Nick Waldon-Howe puts it simply: “The Chef Hat has been huge for us. For the whole team. We’ve always believed in our vision, and this acknowledgement reflects the creativity, discipline and heart our kitchen and front-of-house teams bring to the table every single day.”
And once you sit down, you get it.
There’s a rhythm between the floor and the kitchen, drinks arrive when they should, and service is attentive without hovering. At the helm is Executive Chef Joshua Grant, and his take on Mediterranean food is generous and assured. It’s social by design – plates land on the table and hands dive in.

Coastal Mediterranean Dining in Terrigal
We got a sneak peek at their autumn 2026 menu – citrus, smoke, spice and a rich, savoury depth – and while narrowing it down wasn’t easy, we’ve picked a few that should be on your hit list.
First up, the bluefin tuna crudo with compressed watermelon, pickled cucumber and jalapeño – we’re tipping this as a fan fave. And who can resist pan-fried halloumi, balanced with roasted grapes and pinot grigio hot honey? Sweet, sharp and savoury. Then there’s the veal cotoletta – panko crumbed, pan-fried and finished with burnt sage butter, charred lemon and watercress, it’s crisp, rich and impossible to ignore.

They recommend five dishes between two (they’re right). And weekday lunch specials mean you don’t need a special occasion to justify it. They’re open seven days, so you don’t need to overthink it either.
The drinks list has range without trying too hard, balancing local and international producers with cocktails that make it very easy to stay for another round.
If you’re asking us, Sunday’s the go. All-day Bottomless Brunch in Terrigal – that’s margaritas, spritzes and Bloody Marys on repeat for 90 minutes, with share plates keeping pace. Yes please!
