Easter Egg Hunts Central CoastÂ
Whether it’s the competitive thrill of the hunt or the yummy, chocolatey treasure you’re rewarded with at the end that you like best, there’s nothing like a good egg hunt to get you into the Easter spirit. Fortunately, the Central Coast hosts many epic Easter egg hunts spread across a number of terrains, so we’ve listed them here for you in one handy place. It’s time to get those baskets ready!
Glenworth Valley, Hinterland
Easter Sunday
The enormously popular ‘Giant East Egg Hunt’ located in the perfectly situated Glenworth Valley doesn’t get its name for nothing – this hunt IS Giant. They take the cake as the biggest hunt on the Coast, with a whopping 25,000 Easter eggs being hidden around the valley’s spectacular wilderness. That’s right – 25,000! It’ll be sure to keep the kids entertained for a while, though the activities don’t end there. Afterwards, all that chocolate-energy can be expertly channelled through exploring various jumping castles, pony rides, petting zoos and outdoor activities. The parents are in for a treat too, of course, with a host of delicious onsite vendors offering tasty delights and barista-made coffees to enjoy.
Hot Tip – it sells out nearly every year so book now!
Firecreeks Winery, Holgate

Easter Saturday & SundayÂ
You couldn’t pick a more scenic spot for an egg-hunt than Firecreek’s stunning botanical gardens. It’s one of our favourite places to spend Easter morning (the race begins at 11am sharp) because whilst the kids are egg-hunting, parents can also hunt for the best wine on offer on the organic winery grounds. All ages are welcome here, though there is a staggering procedure according to the children’s age that makes everything fair and square. Bookings are essential!
Davistown RSL, Davistown

Good Friday
Once again, the locals’ favourite Davistown RSL is ready to bring the festivity with its hugely anticipated Good Friday Easter Egg hunt and will be ready to laden its participants cute Easter tote bags with goodies. Unfortunately, this hunt is only for 10 year olds and under, but no one need feel left out, for the Davo has lots of other Easter activities planned to be a part of, including Easter raffles and shows throughout the week.
Please do keep in mind also that the egg hunt sells out early every year, so be sure to grab your tickets early!

Central Coast Easter Egg Hunts
Parklife, Terrigal

Easter Saturday
Not only does Parklife café in Terrigal have two Easter egg hunts happening, but they’ve also organised a full lineup of Easter-themed activities to keep the kiddies (and, well, the whole family, really) entertained this Easter Saturday. In conjunction with The Glass Slipper party planners, they’ll be hosting an Easter Teddy Bear workshop (Thursday), a Plate Painting Workshop and a High Tea with special guests Alice and the Easter Bunny. There is of course also their popular face-painting running too, and the option to enjoy one of the coast’s best cuppas and a treat under the trees.
Keep in mind, however, that bookings are limited for the workshops. To get involved, contact @theglassslipperparties on social media or Kara at 0426020385
Wyong Milk Factory
Easter Sunday
Up the northern end of the Coast, the Wyong Milk Factory readies itself for another choc-a-block Easter holiday schedule. Race around collecting colourful craft eggs before receiving your chocolate prize on Easter Sunday, or else hop along to one of their many fun organized activities over the break, including kids Zumba, karaoke, jumping castles, snake shows (!) arts and crafts and more! If you’re planning on spending some time there Easter Weekend, we recommend making a booking for a delicious brekkie or lunch surrounding the hunt to keep that competitive energy fuelled.
Drifter’s Wharf

Easter Sunday
Celebrate Easter in style at Drifter’s hip waterfront Hoppy Easter Festival, where there isn’t only the necessary Easter Scavenger Hunt running, but also DJs from 9am, a jumping castle, face painting and free family photos!
