Tucked away in a back street of Avoca, you’ll find one of our all-time favourite florists on the Central Coast, Flora Folia Studio. It’s a calm, light-filled studio that truly is a pocket of beauty and one of those special places you’ll be glad you found.

Now, if you’re just after delivery and don’t (sadly) get to make it into the studio IRL, this is the florist where every bunch feels personal. Flora Folia does everything from regular bloom deliveries to brighten your week, to weddings, events, memorial flowers, office arrangements and even home styling. You can order online or via phone between Wednesdays to Saturdays. Please note that on Saturdays, delivery times vary from those during the week, so it’s best to call for these.

Here, “floristry is the art form”, with the uber-talented, experienced (and gorgeous) Adrienne Gibbs, who is behind it all, curating unique and imperfect arrangements that will simply wow you! As you take a little wander through The Quarters, Forresters Beach and you’ll find a true hidden gem of the floristry world, say hello to The Botanical Workshop. You enter a dreamy space that we know, you’ll not want to leave in a hurry. Part florist, part gift boutique, this beautiful florist has a little something for everyone.

Of course, there are gorgeous seasonal blooms, but they also specialise in dried everlasting posies. Plus, did we mention The Botanical Workshop does exceptional floral design for weddings? And if that wasn’t enough, they also offer event styling, goodbye (funeral) blooms and subscriptions!

Basically, you never have to go without fresh flowers again! And, that’s a big yes, please, from us. Because who doesn’t need their days brightened by blooms? There are corporate and personal subscriptions to choose from (which attract a sweet little discount). They do same-day delivery Monday through Friday, but are open six days a week (on Saturdays, they open till 1pm), for those wanting to pick a bunch in person.

When in Ettalong, a pop in at Wyld by Nature in Ettalong is an essential need! Run by Erica and Bron, they specialise in and exclusively stock seasonal Australian-grown botanicals. Their arrangements feel natural, textured and a little bit wild (living up to their name!).

In store, if the divine smells of fresh blooms aren’t enough to make you linger a little longer, then their range of interesting and stunning indoor plants and gifts will. Not to mention their range of fun and educational workshops. From basket weaving to wreath making to creating tropical terrariums. With intention, these ladies have created a space for the whole community to feel comfortable and safe, all while learning new skills.

Oh, and then there’s delivery, they deliver Peninsula-wide, weekly from Tuesday – Saturday. Or you can always pop in for pick up. Trust us, it’s worth the trip.
