Best Cafes Long Jetty
Welcome to Long Jetty! Known for its incredible Long Jetty mural by the uber-talented Brent Smith @biffybrentano, for its shopping, its markets, the bike paths and don’t forget its cafes. Long Jetty has some pretty damn epic cafes there is no doubting that!
When it comes to the many Long Jetty cafes that line either side of The Entrance Road, there really is something for everyone. And what’s brilliant is that each are closely packed in together so you don’t have to trek far to try them all.
We’ve done the hard yards for you too, we’ve road tested them and here’s the list of the ones you need to have your next brew, breaky or brunch at.
1. Modern Organic
Our top pick has to be Modern Organic for Long Jetty Cafes.
We’ve been long-time fans of this hub for good food, good yoga and good community. But if you’ve been to Modern Organic lately, you’d know what we’re talking about when we say there’s a new energy in the air. The Yoga Studio and Garden Cafe has been taken over by Long Jetty local Adam Bailey. He’s got an inspiring energy that makes people feel not just like they belong, but that they want to belong.Â
Whether it’s a cuppa after yoga, a grab and go breaky or brunch into lunch, Modern Organic is the perfect choice.
Um, and did we mention the pretty garden courtyard at the back? It honestly feels a million miles away from the bustling main street that runs through Long Jetty. This also makes it a popular spot with families with young kids, knowing their littlies are safely tucked away.
2. The Morning Coffee Society
Only about a year old this sweet little cafe has taken the Jetty by storm. Run by Han and her team you’re always greeted with a beautiful warm and welcoming smile. The coffee is spot on – using local roasters Glee, the food is delish and soaking up the sunshine in one of their our door tables feels like bliss to us.
Make sure you add TMCS to your Long Jetty Cafe list.
3. The Glass Onion Society
Perhaps the most famous of any Long Jetty café, if not any café on the Central Coast, The Glass Onion Society is something of an institution. Inside, you’ll find a mix-match of furnishing, art by local artists on the wall, an eye on incredible eats and outstanding coffee. There’s plenty of seating inside and out. A must visit for all.
4. Green Tangerine
First and foremost, Green Tangerine is a bakery. Each morning, the most delicious fresh breads and pastries are created on-site. And the smell fills the street. The breakfast menu is fantastic and ever changing. But even if you go for a simple eggs on toast, it’s done to a high standard. This is the café with the Long Jetty mural down the side so don’t forget to get that obligatory picture.
