And the most anticipated opening of 2021 is…. Drifters Wharf in Gosford.
Opening on December 4, the waterfront eatery is now a one-stop spot for fantastic eats, incredible cocktails and those outstanding blue-on-blue water views of Brisbane Waters.
The expansive premises was once the site of Coast Bar & Restaurant but had sat empty for years.
It received a multi-million-dollar facelift by the same team that’s behind the highly-popular Mumbo Jumbos in Terrigal and Shady Palms in Avoca.
So, is this the moment Gossy finally becomes a leading Coast suburb?

Let’s Step Inside Drifters Wharf in Gosford
Drifters Wharf menu is inspired by the sea, with salmon rilette, oysters, lobster and baked John Dory just some of many on the expansive menu.
Much like its siblings, Shady and Mumbos, there’s also pizza on the menu here . And a new addition of fish, squid or smoked beef brisket subs.
But for us at Coasties, it is all about the polenta chips. Do not leave without trying them.
There’s also an extensive cocktail list, and wines from both Australia and international waters.
What really stands Drifters Wharf apart though is regular live music and DJs pulled from the Sydney scene.
This is the spot to go out out on the Central Coast right now. Enjoy!
