1. Albie’s Coffee Bar, The Entrance

Coastie bean lovers, if Albie’s Coffee Bar isn’t on your radar then it should be. The secret to their excellent coffee comes from their Veneziano beans. There’s artisan treats, gooey toasties and muffins galore. And with a prime location only a few steps from the waterfront and the ever-popular Picnic Point playground, this is a winner for parents of littlies wanting to actually enjoy their coffee.

2. Rise Mofo, Toukley

3. Parklife Coffee, Terrigal

A parent’s dream. Located just next to at the Central Coast Marine Discovery Centre and on the site of a sprawling playground, Parklife Coffee not only boasts to some of the best coffee on the Coast but also some of the freshest fare. That’s all thanks to it being made on site each day, with plenty of options for littlies. Try the little kids boxes with humous and dips that comes in an old egg box. In fact, Parklife Coffee is also also the most family eco-friendly café on the coast, focusing on lowing its impact and recycling when possible. Worth a visit!

4. The Cnr, Woy Woy

Tucked away in the backstreets of Woy Woy lies The CNR, known as serving the most gourmet toastie out there. The Cnr uses secret delectable relishes and pickles to amplify the most mouth-watering toasties. Like the ‘TROPPO’ which is made up of cheddar cheese, carved ham off the bone, pineapple, jalapeno, and tequila relish. A Coasties Magazine personal favourite is the ‘BIG TEX’. Can’t go wrong with house smoked brisket! Accompanying your toasties are tip-top coffee and beverages served by what feels like family. And when we thought this couldn’t get any better, there’s a playground and picnic table just across the road that is perfect for a impromptu picnic.

5. The Box Beach Kiosk, Ettalong

Grab your fresh fare and enjoy on the beach.

The Box on the Water has been a firm favourite with both locals and tourists for the last few years, but if you’re looking for something a bit more casual then the kiosk at the side of the building is calling. There’s a few seats here but really everyone grabs their takeaway meal and enjoys on Ettalong Beach, which is just a few steps away. There’s a whole range of breakfast items available, but really this spot comes to life at lunch. There’s tacos, fish and chips and popcorn prawns that are all to the same quality as if you were dining in the restaurant. A beach-side winner.
