It’s the night that everyone looks forward to, New Year’s Eve on the Central Coast. Yes, sure many may think it’s an overrated affair, but we disagree, especially when the Central Coast Council is putting on yet another incredible event for our community and visitors alike to enjoy.
New Year’s Eve 2023 on the Central Coast
The annual family-friendly and free New Year's Eve celebration put on by Central Coast Council will see Memorial Park at The Entrance come alive. Get ready to party like it’s 2024! Riley Lovell, Toby Wells Band, The Appointments and not to be missed; the show’s headliners will be none other than epic local talent; Sunsoli!
Take in the last sunset for 2023 and join in on all the fun happening over at Memorial Park, The Entrance from 5:30pm – 9:00pm on Sunday 31 December 2023. Not only will crowds be treated to incredible tunes, but there will also be food trucks with a lit-up dining area and, amusements. So bring your picnic rug, arrive early to claim your spot and settle in for an evening to remember. And, without a doubt the best way to ring in the New Year.
New Year’s Eve 2023 at The Entrance
To make the most of your day we’ve included some useful tips that have been provided by the Central Coast Council:
- The entire event is alcohol-free
- For your safety, there will be a highly visible police presence and a zero-tolerance policy on anti-social behaviour
- To help protect the park’s natural beauty, please place rubbish in the bins provided and don’t forget to recycle
- There will be no midnight fireworks
- Spectators are encouraged to leave following the conclusion of the 9:00pm fireworks display

Temporary Road Closures:
Due to the scale and popularity of this event, as well as an expected large crowd, several temporary road closures will be in effect. We encourage all residents and event attendees to plan ahead and use alternate routes if possible. The temporary road closures will be between 3:00pm and 11:00pm.
- Marine Parade, The Entrance between The Entrance Road and the end of the car park. The Marine Parade car park will remain open.
- Coral Street, The Entrance between The Entrance Road and Duffy’s Lane.
- The Entrance Road, The Entrance between Fairview Avenue and Marine Parade.
- Part road closures on Victoria Avenue, The Entrance between The Entrance Road and Torrens Avenue.
