Oktoberfest on the Coast: A Day to Remember

The steins were clinking, the pretzels were perfectly salted, and the Central Coast turned up in true Bavarian style for this year’s Oktoberfest celebration – and what a day it was!

Held across two sold-out sessions, the event brought together hundreds of locals and visitors for a lively day (and night) of authentic German food, live music, and plenty of festive cheer. The first session saw groups of friends, many of whom were dressed to impress, settle in under blue and white bunting for the ultimate (albeit very warm) afternoon of good beer and great vibes. As the sun went down, the second session kicked things up a notch – with steins raised high, the band in full swing, and the dance floor packed from start to finish.

Live entertainment kept the crowd buzzing all day long, with traditional tunes, upbeat covers and plenty of old favourites. From the moment the first bratwurst hit the grill to the final cheers of “Prost!”, the energy never dipped, which is a true testament to the community spirit that makes the Central Coast such a special place to celebrate.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Oktoberfest without the food. Guests tucked into schnitzels, giant pretzels, pork knuckles, and German sausages, all perfectly paired with locally brewed beers. Between bites and brews, there were plenty of photo ops, a few fun activations, and a whole lot of laughter.

The event also shone a light on local businesses and suppliers, with community partnerships helping to bring the festival to life. From the décor and logistics to the entertainment lineup and beer selection, it was a true collaborative effort that highlighted just how much talent and heart our region has to offer.

As the last notes played and the crowd reluctantly spilled out into the night, one thing was clear: Oktoberfest on the Coast has firmly cemented itself as one of the year’s most anticipated events. With the incredible turnout and positive feedback from attendees, there’s already talk (and hope!) that it will make a triumphant return in 2026.

Until then, we’ll be counting down the days to when we can don the dirndls, lace up the lederhosen, and say “Prost!” all over again.

Central Coast Oktoberfest 2025 Lands in Gosford

It’s time to dust off your lederhosen and raise a stein – because the region’s first major Oktoberfest festival is here. On Saturday 11 October 2025, polytec Stadium in Gosford will transform into a beer-lover’s playground for Central Coast Oktoberfest. Expect craft brews, German-inspired food, live music, and Coastie vibes all day long.

With two huge sessions, this is shaping up to be the festival the Central Coast has been waiting for.

Craft Beer Paradise with Local Brewers

The Coast is blessed with some seriously good breweries, and they’re all coming together for this one.

You’ll find Six String Brewing Co, Bay Road Brewing, Block n Tackle, Big Little Brewing, Goons Brewing, and Oakhaven Brewing pouring their best. From crisp lagers to bold IPAs and proper Oktoberfest brews, it’s a line-up guaranteed to keep your stein filled.

More Than Beer – Food, Wine & Cocktails

If beer isn’t your thing (or if you just need a snack to keep pace), you’re in luck. Local food vendors will be serving up a feast of German-inspired eats alongside festival favourites. There’ll also be a wine and cocktail bar hosted by Steinbok and East Coast Juices, so everyone can join the toast.

Live Music Line-Up You Can’t Miss

What’s Oktoberfest without a killer soundtrack? Across two sessions, the stadium will be buzzing with a line-up that’s equal parts party and Coastie cool.

• Session 1 (11am–4pm): Bootleg Rascal, Hot Potato Band, The Punk Rock Hillbilly, and The Cat Snatchers.
• Session 2 (5pm–10pm): Beddy Rays, The Good Kids, Chaperone, and the Oompah Loompah Band.
