The last 12 months might have been a bit stop and start, but 2022 is the year to have fun again.
And Central Coast Stadium appear to have to have got the memo, with 2022 going to be its biggest year yet.
The stellar team behind the 20,000-plus seated stadium in Gosford spent lockdown masterminding their post-pandemic line-up. And we can reveal, it’s pretty spectacular.
As expected there will be plenty of sport, with three NRL games planned, including A-League Men and Women games throughout the first few months of 2022.
There will also be the arrival of world-renowned Freestyle Kings on Saturday 19 February. They will be putting on a high energy live show that showcases their incredible motorcross skills.
Central Coast Stadium Music Events
It isn’t all sport though. There’s going to be plenty of live music, with the first music event of the year being a country and blues festival that runs over two days.
Country to the Coast will run on Saturday 8 January, featuring the incredible talents of Casey Barnes, The Viper Creek Band and Jamie Linds.
Blues by the Bay will run on Sunday 9 January, bringing some of the country’s leading blues performers to the Central Coast.
The Lachy Doley Group will headline, and there will also be 19-Twenty and Steve Edmonds.
Treat yourself to VIP tickets and you’ll get your own personal VIP bar. Yep, no queues.
In 2022, Central Coast Stadium will also be unveiling a brand new food and drink offering.
There will be new food vendors set up on the concourse, and each have been handpicked to ensure there’s a great variety.
Chips on a stick, nachos and beef jerky are just a few of the food truck favourites the team have teased.
Finally, there’s whispers that Central Coast Stadium are in the final stages of being selected as a Team Base Camp when the FIFA Women’s World Cup comes to Australia in 2023. You hear it here first.
