This time we set the Instagram famous pair the challenge of picking their most favourite local dog friendly businesses on the Central Coast. This is what they came up with…

1. Pods 4 Pets

This locally owned and operated business sells the most luscious bed ‘pods’ for your animal. They are all customisable and made from durable faux fur fabrics that are luxuriously soft and fluffy. The interchangeable covers are elasticised, making it super simple and easy to wash. All materials are breathable for a no-smell solution that you can customise with your pet’s name and a stylish cover to suit your home or other pet beds. Visit their website or contact Jacque today: 0414 238 697

2. Human & Hound Massage

A massage for dogs? You heard us right. But a rub down isn’t purely for pooch pampering. It actually helps with a dog’s overall wellness.

Coastie Leigh Hogan fused her love of dogs with her expertise in remedial massage when her dog Shelby needed massage to supplement her recovery from an injury. Flashforward to today and she’s since set up Human and Hound and is now the leading doggie masseuse on the Coast.

And luckily for us four-legged pooches, she’s on hand to help owners with tips on how to boost wellbeing at home.

Her top tip is to take the time to sit with your dog, run your hands through their fur, and gently massage around their neck and shoulders. And it’s proven that this can even be beneficial for dog owners’ wellbeing, too.

And owners don’t have to miss out on the massage either. Leigh is now offering the first human and hounds joint massage in the region.

To book an appointment or find out more, visit the Human and Hound website.
