Some weekends leave you feeling like you need another weekend to recover… Glenworth Grazing Festival 2026 wasn’t one of them.
As proud event partners, the Coasties Mag team packed up the camping gear, loaded the kids into the car and headed to Glenworth Valley for what turned out to be one of the most enjoyable family weekends we’ve had in a long time.

My husband and I spent the June long weekend camping with our two children, aged eight and ten, alongside Nikki and her family, plus a wonderful group of friends.
In total, there were around eight families, 15 adults and 16 children – ranging from babies under one right through to primary school age.
While that many kids in one place could sound chaotic, the beauty of Glenworth Valley is that it somehow makes everything feel relaxed – even when the kids outnumber the adults!
From the moment we arrived, there was an undeniable energy across the festival grounds. Running from 10am to 5.30pm across both Saturday and Sunday, Glenworth Grazing Festival struck the perfect balance between a premium food and wine experience and a genuinely family-friendly event.
The atmosphere was incredible.
Everywhere you looked, people were gathered on picnic rugs, enjoying live entertainment, sampling local produce, sipping regional wines and soaking up the spectacular valley backdrop.
The vendor lineup was impressive (to say the least), with a fantastic mix of food, beverage and market vendors offering endless opportunities to eat, shop and discover something new.
One of the standout features for families was the dedicated kids’ zone.
Thoughtfully planned and packed with activities – jumping castles, laser skirmish, horse riding, reptile encounters, tetherball & more – it gave children plenty to do throughout the day and quickly became a favourite destination for our group.
What’s on this weekend on the Central Coast?
It’s clear that family-friendly was more than a box to be ticked – the children’s activities were a genuine part of the festival experience, allowing parents to relax and enjoy themselves while the kids were entertained.
Equally impressive was the events team. Throughout the weekend, staff and volunteers were welcoming, helpful and happy to be there.
Large-scale events don’t run smoothly by accident, and it was obvious there was a huge amount of planning and care behind the scenes. Every interaction was positive, adding to the warm and inclusive feel of the weekend.
Of course, one of the biggest highlights for our families was the camping itself.
There’s something special about waking up surrounded by nature, stepping out and watching the kids disappear on adventures before breakfast.
Glenworth Valley provides the kind of environment many parents wish their children could experience more often. There was endless exploring to be done, open space to run, wildlife to spot and natural landscapes that seemed to encourage imagination at every turn.
The camping facilities were excellent, with everything families needed for a comfortable stay, including a playground that quickly became a gathering point when the kids weren’t busy creating their own adventures in nature.

What stood out most across the entire weekend was the sense of connection. Families connected with nature, friends connected around campfires, and strangers connected through a shared appreciation of great food, great entertainment and one of the most beautiful event locations on the Central Coast.
As the tents came down and everyone reluctantly packed up, there was one conversation happening repeatedly across our campsite: “We’ll definitely be back next year.”
2027 dates confirmed
The good news? Glenworth Grazing Festival is already set to return in 2027, with organisers planning an even bigger celebration as the event marks its 10th year.

There are some festivals that just have our heart.
Maybe it’s the setting, maybe it’s the food, maybe it’s the music drifting through the trees as the sun starts to dip… whatever the magic formula is, Glenworth Grazing Festival has clearly figured it out.
And the good news? It’s back.
Set amongst the breathtaking surrounds of Glenworth Valley, the much-loved festival will return for two huge days of food, music, and good vibes on Saturday 6th – Sunday 7th June 2026, over the long weekend.
If the early ticket rush is anything to go by, Coasties and visitors alike are already counting down. Early bird tickets went on sale yesterday and sold out in record time, with camping passes snapped up particularly fast by those keen to turn the event into a full weekend adventure.
And you know what, we can’t blame them.
Your Central Coast June long weekend plans
For many locals, Glenworth Grazing Festival has become something of a tradition. Friends gather, families spread out picnic rugs, and strangers become mates over a shared love of great food and live music.
Across the weekend, more than 100 food, wine and drink vendors will transform the valley into a culinary playground. Expect everything from street food favourites and gourmet bites to artisan producers showcasing the best flavours the region has to offer.
You can graze your way through lunch, discover your new favourite local producer, then wander back for another round before the last act takes to the stage.

But it isn’t just about eating and drinking. It’s also about atmosphere.

One of the things that truly sets this festival apart is its location.
Surrounded by bushland and open space, the valley offers the perfect backdrop for a relaxed, roam-as-you-please festival experience. It’s easy to wander between food stalls, music stages and meeting spots where you can settle in with friends and simply soak up the atmosphere.
Kids have room to run, with a designated kids’ zone packed full of fun activities, including horse riding, laser tag, and more. That’s if you manage to pull them away from the dance floor, of course!

That’s right. It’s back. Our much-loved event, the Glenworth Grazing Food & Wine Festival is coming to the Central Coast this coming June 2023 long weekend.

Live music will blast from the main stage across both days. The first act will commence from 10:30am with the last set starting at 4:15pm. Get set for a full day of dancing.
Both days will feature tunes from local artist favourites. Joel Leggett will play at 11:30am on Saturday and Little Quirks have the same set on Sunday.
