There’s no denying that when it comes to dinner-time, Terrigal is one of the best hot-spots on the Coast for its nightlife. Thanks to its grid of merry, vibrant restaurants boasting a variety of cuisines, combined with the sea-salty air, lit-up pine trees and acoustic music of buskers filling the space, Terrigal has something for everyone to enjoy. However, here’s a few of the top spots to eat.
Meribella at Crowne Plaza
Meribella. What can we say; the vibe, the space and of course the food by Chef Josh Mason and the team is seriously next level. Relaxed fine dining has landed in the heart of Terrigal. Yes, relaxed fine dining is a thing! Trust us when we say these guys have nailed it.
With quite possibly one of the best views on the Coast, overlooking Terrigal Beach through those iconic Newfoundland trees is what you can expect and exactly what the Central Coast needs.
We say, “run, don’t walk”. And book your table here.

Rhonda’s, Terrigal Beach
We always love a night at Rhonda’s in Terrigal. The Italian menu really packs a punch, with the pastas as superior as the stone-baked pizzas. But it’s the atmosphere over the three floors that gets us. It’s always so much fun! Dinner at the ground floor then you’ll find us enjoying margaritas of the cocktail variety on the rooftop. Perfect sundowner spot.

Arc Est., Terrigal
The ocean inspires Terrigal’s newest high-end restaurant, Arc. Est. The oysters arrive with a stunning champagne mignon. The kingfish ceviche is an outstanding explosion of flavour. And the Vietnamese barramundi is cooked to perfection. But don’t worry, meat lovers, the slow-cooked lamb shoulder is your fix. We also love this spot as the interiors are slick and the cocktails take it all to another level. There’s also al fresco dining for when the sun is out.

Maew Maew, TerrigalÂ
Taking over the beautiful upstairs space boasting views of Terrigal Beach just across the road, this Asian bar and restaurant brings only the most delicious and thoughtful recipes to its lantern-lit tables. Enjoy a few Shanghai pork dumplings before diving into the Pad Se Ew wagyu beef platter paired with one of it’s signature cocktails – or otherwise have the full culinary experience with one of Maew Maew’s two banquet options.

Restaurants Terrigal: The Finest
The Cowrie, Terrigal
For those who enjoy fine dining and stunning sea views then it has to be Terrigal restaurant The Cowrie. Located high above Terrigal, this Terrigal restaurant not only has panoramic ocean views, but also some of the finest seafood and fish dishes you’ll find in our region. Also, don’t leave without trying the white chocolate Rocher featuring coffee cream and white coffee anglaise. An absolute sensation.
Thaiger Temple, Terrigal
The Samingkaw family have been in the Thai restaurant business for over 25 years, so they’ve definitely earned their stripes when it comes to their Terrigal restaurant offering of Thiager Temple. Here you’ll find incredible Asian eats, a buzzy restaurant vibe and stellar cocktails. And there’s a seriously wide array of Thai dishes such as Pad See Ew and Laksa decorating the menu, as well as a twist of other popular Asian dishes such as bao buns and duck pancakes. Always a winner.

Yellowtail, Terrigal
Yellowtail really offers a fine dining experience like no other in Terrigal.  Focusing on a blend of modern Australian, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean and Asian influences, all united by Yellowtail’s chef Scott Price’s firm eye on top-quality produce. We’re talking high-grade wagyu, the finest snapper sashimi and superior seafood, to name just a few. And this is white-cloth service. A real fancy affair.

Sit back and relax in their stunning plant-laden interiors and prepare yourself for a feast, because you may very well want to try everything.
The Grand Palace, Terrigal
A winner by all accounts, we’ve lost track of how many times we’ve come here. The two-story Indian restaurant offering both outdoor and indoor seating with beautiful design choices makes the best Chicken Saag Wala and Butter Chicken around town. Pair it with the traditional Indian pastime Masala tea and one of their twelve Naan options whilst overlooking the bustling Terrigal walkway below, and you’ll be in heaven.

L’isle de France Terrigal
There’s something special about L’isle de France and it isn’t just down to it being one of very few French restaurants on the Coast. Everything from the lighting to the atmosphere, the menu and wine list, has been thought about so carefully. We highly recommend trying the Joues de Boeuf à la Bourguignonne with a glass of La Tour Travers 2018. Really, a stunning example of a restaurant all-rounder.

Restaurants Terrigal: Relaxed & Fun
Banana Blossom
20 years since opening their first store on the Northern Beaches, Banana Blossom has come to land it’s healthy yet indulgent menu in the heart of Terrigal. It may be unusual for other restaurants to specialize in a mostly ‘salad’ cuisine, but that’s because they haven’t revolutionized and redefined what a ‘salad’ is and should be, as Banana Blossom has. Using only the freshest and most flavoursome ingredients to put together their inspiring and creative Asian salads, rice bowls and rice paper rolls, you may have just found your new fav spot in Terrigal.

Mumbo Jumbos, Terrigal
For those who like more of a bar vibe but with stellar eats, then it has to be Mumbo Jumbo Terrigal. It’s all Caribbean Rum Shack interiors here, with the rooftop bar having full views of Terrigal Beach. The menu has some seriously fresh seafood and smoked meats. We like the oysters with a bit of fizz. Oh and when you order a main, you receive a complimentary house wine or beer when you flash your Coasties Card.

Once Again, Terrigal
Newcomer to the Terrigal scene opening in late October is Once Again Asian Eatery and let this be a warning. You’ll be coming back once again and again! Pun intended. The menu is rich with delish choices, the cocktails on point and the interior well thought out. With a spacious dining area it’s perfect for families and larger groups.
We cannot go past the hospitality though, from the moment you walk through the door, to the moment you leave, you feel a part of the family. The service is incredible! We recommend the Kingfish Ceviche, an absolute favourite dish of ours and quite honestly the best we’ve had on the Central Coast! Also the Miang Kham, Braised Brisket and Thai Beef Salad, all dishes we’d eat again and again, with aromas to get the mouth watering.
