Let’s be real, there’s a lot of amazing women on the Central Coast. And there’s nothing better than supporting a female-owned business, right? So we’ve created a list of our seven favourite local businesses that are powered by incredible women to support this International Women’s Day. Let’s go…

Azur Skincare

Azur Pure is a premium skincare range created right here on the Central Coast by fabulous femme Anna Chatburn. She has been meticulous in creating the very best, using premium organic botanicals that are all locally sourced and include cutting-edge natural vegan actives like bakuchiol and squalane. All packaging is glass, aluminium or paper, and they even offer free empties returns which is an Australian-first. And Coasties Card members get 10% OFF at checkout.

Dava By Nature

We feature Ashleigh Kay in our latest issue of Coasties. You can read here. She created a full range of organic tisane teas just weeks after welcoming her son into the world. Creating a brand new business is no easy feat, but juggling as a single mum to a new baby… well, she’s nothing short of a superhero. And best of all, each blend is incredible. We love the Rest & Restore.

Pod Organics

Launched this March, Pod Organics is an all-natural organic skincare range created by two besties. Everything in this line is amazing but we personally enjoy the calming mist which has slightly addictive properties. Also, we’re a sucker for beautiful packaging.

Philly Cowdrey Designs

Philly Cowdrey is all about creating colourful statement earrings in her studio in Woy Woy. She truly takes pride in the quality and craftsmanship, where all earring pieces are handmade, sanded and lacquered to show the true colours of the clay.

Daily Dough Co

Launched mid pandemic, Emma Peat was just 19-years-old when she opened the first Daily Dough Co in Wyong. For the first few months, her doughnuts were a daily sell out. Earlier this year, she opened her second doughnut shop, in Terrigal. And Coasties Card members are in for a double deal when they visit. Flash that card to get a small coffee and a cinnamon or OG doughnut for $5 instead of $9. Or when you purchase a DYO 6 pack, you’ll get 10% off making it a delicious $27.

Sakura and Sky

Sakura & Sky

For those looking for a beautiful present, then it has to be the brand new Sakura & Sky. Based in Woy Woy, each design is handcrafted by Isobel Goodwin-Moore using polymer clay. The rose tones are our vibe, for sure.

In The Buff Body Stuff

In The Buff Body Stuff

In short, we’re absolutely obsessed with In The Buff Body Stuff. An all-natural bath salt range that you’ve probably stumbled upon at the markets. What’s amazing is that all of the Buff’s range is blended by hand in small batches by Kate Stuckey. An awesome female-owned business to support. And one that offers Coasties Card members 10% OFF online orders.
