Ideas for Mother’s Day on the Central Coast 2026
Most mothers or mum figures in our lives definitely make life feel a little easier. Behind the scenes, they carry that “mum load” effortlessly as they quietly organise the family calendar, groceries, meal planning, kids sports and social lives, themselves, school comms, the washing, the cooking, the cleaning, their business and career, ensuring no one is ever late and the car always full of fuel whilst keeping mental notes of where every lost sock in the house is… Without fuss, they are the biggest cheerleaders and the ones who give endlessly and ask for little in return.
Mother’s Day is a chance to turn the spotlight back on them and celebrate all they bring to our lives, and to make all the mums and motherly figures out there feel truly special. And, there are plenty of beautiful ways to do just that on the Central Coast this year.
Here’s our guide to celebrating Mother’s Day on the Central Coast in 2026. Let’s go.
Central Coast Dining Options for Mother’s Day
There is no shortage of locations offering Mother’s Day meals and menus this year on the Central Coast. Our top tip for those looking to lock in somewhere special for your mum would be to book soon. Most book out in advance and no mum wants to be picnicking on a park bench!
Here are our top picks for eating and drinking experiences on the Central Coast on Mother’s Day.
High Tea – Meribella, Terrigal

Location check, views check, refined luxurious sweet treats check. High Tea at Meribella has to be our top pick for how to spoil mum for Mother’s Day in 2026.
Set against Terrigal’s sparkling waterfront, this is no ordinary tea-and-scones affair; it is set to be a beautiful and unforgettable high tea experience. Think a refined, indulgent take on tradition, with a menu inspired by Meribella’s Hatted Chef.
Expect a glass of sparkling on arrival, elegant savoury bites, and a flowing dessert service featuring treats like lemon-scented scones, salted caramel tarts and more, all served with the kind of polish Meribella does so well.
There’s also an optional Brokenwood Wines package if you’d like to make an afternoon of it, and with sittings at 12pm and 2.30pm.
At $90 per adult and $50 per child, we think it’s a pretty lovely way to say thank you to the women who do so much. Bookings are essential, and this one is expected to fill fast! So, no dilly dallying now, we’d be locking this one in sooner rather than later if we were you.

Long Lunch at Angel Sussurri, Yarramalong

Long lunching in the kind of place where the pace slows, the food speaks for itself, is what mum will get at Angel Sussurri’s Mother’s Day Long Lunch. Tucked away in the heart of the Yarramalong Valley, you’ll find a beautiful, peaceful setting that is home to Angel Sussurri. And, this year, they have designed their Mother’s Day lunch to be one where “everything just feels easy… good food, warm hospitality, and time spent exactly where you should be”. They’re aiming for a relaxed celebration, with a share-style menu designed to bring everyone together around the table.

The special Mother’s Day menu features everything from whipped brie with figs and cardamom honey to Tajín-spiced squid, Spanish chicken, tempura vegetable udon and decadent desserts like caramelised white chocolate brownie and coconut gelato sundae. It’s thoughtful, generous and full of the kind of flavour and genuine country-style hospitality that Angel Sussurri does so well.
There are two sittings at 11am and 1pm on Sunday, May 10, with the long lunch priced at $80 per person. This one is truly a lovely pick for Mother’s Day to ensure that mum feels spoilt and loved. As always, spots are expected to fill fast, so book here now.

Celebrate, thank, and kickstart Mother’s Day the right way this year with a delicious breakfast (let’s be honest, who doesn’t love someone else cooking for them?) at Gosford RSL. Their buffet breakfast in The Gardens kicks off from 8.30am and makes a lovely, easy way to gather the family and celebrate before the day unfolds. It also means you have plenty of time up your sleeve to spoil mum with other fun things she likes later in the day too! Double the celebration.
There’s a little extra sparkle too, with a “Mum-osa” included on arrival, plus a photobooth so everyone can actually get in the family photo for once! It’s those fun little touches that Gosford RSL do so well, and that will make this Mother’s Day one to remember!

Mother’s Day Markets – Saddles Barn, Mount White
There’s always a bit of a magical feel happening at Saddles at Mount White, and Mother’s Day makes the perfect excuse to soak it all in. This year, they’re turning it on once again at Saddles Barn, with a relaxed, feel-good morning that’s made for slow wandering, good coffee and quality time with Mum.

From 8am on Mother’s Day, Saddles Barn will come to life with a curated market-style vibe, think fresh blooms, local goodies and thoughtful gifts for mum. They’ll be serving up coffee and sweet treats from 8am too, which will roll on into their signature BBQ in the Barn, and then the bubbles and cocktails will be on from 10am. All set to the live music that’ll be playing outside overlooking the dam, so you can take in that stunning Saddles scenery. Oh, and did we mention face painting too? Meaning kiddos are also taken care of, while you linger a little longer over your bevvie.
The idea is to make Mother’s Day effortless, bring mum to a beautiful setting and let the well-oiled team at Saddles take care of the rest!

Distillery Botanica, Erina
For something a little different for Mum this year, Distillery Botanica in Erina has a couple of beautiful, experience-led options that Mum will love. Set amongst their lush botanical gardens, they have a line-up of fun activities planned all weekend.

On Saturday, it’s all about getting creative with a cookie decorating workshop that is hosted alongside Sweet Chloe Bakery and (of course) paired with a gin tasting for good measure. It’s hands-on, a little indulgent and perfect for mums who love a sweet treat. There’s also the option to upgrade and add on a high tea or a garden photoshoot.
On Sunday, the focus shifts to a bit of well-earned “me time” with a relaxed cocktail class. Mums will get a welcome drink on arrival, then learn how to shake and stir a couple of beautifully balanced cocktails using the distillery’s signature botanicals.

Our top picks for something a little unique and for something that mum’s would probably not get themselves would be a voucher for Shell Bra Fitting Studio, which has a number of options on offer. Trust us, she’ll never feel better after a session here.
Or why not gift her the gift of time-saving and convenience with an
Activate Foods voucher. Take it from three mums behind the scenes here at Coasties, precooked meals delivered to our door, get a hells yes from us!

Or the gift of wellness and recovery. Coastal Rehab Hub has a range of therapies to aid wellness, recovery, rehab and healing. And they are offering a special Mother’s Day gift cards to celebrate mums and all they do for us.
The best gift hampers on the Coast are created by Effortless Favours, Love Her Gift Boxes and Central Coast Hampers and Gifts who all design and create beautifully packaged gift boxes filled with local treats from chocolate and candles to wine, skincare, and keepsakes.
Order ahead and have it delivered straight to mum’s door. It’s thoughtful, and personal at the same time.
Or, why not book an experience, workshop or a class? From a ceramics workshop at Bare Stone Studio in Killarney Vale to a pilates pass at Liberte Pilates (with studios in Norah Head, Wamberal and Bateau Bay) to a Oyster Pearl Farm Boat Tour at Broken Bay Pearls. There are just so many to choose from on the Central Coast.

However you choose to spend it, Mother’s Day on the Central Coast is all about being thoughtful and kind. So be sure to slow down enough to notice all that the mum figure in your life does for you. Show up, spend time and make the women who show up for us feel truly celebrated.
