Star 104.5 Number One on Central Coast with Record Breaking Audience

Our brand new Breakfast show hosted by the incredible Matt Baseley and Gina Jeffreys not only took the #1 spot, but has grown our Breakfast audience since we launched the show, which is a truly outstanding achievement.

Rounding out 2024 with a clean sweep of #1’s in every daypart for the second year in a row reflects the loyalty of our audience, who know that when they tune in to Star 104.5 they’ll always get the best content on the Coast. It’s also true recognition of the hard work of everyone at the station who has helped deliver these amazing results.’

For those following along at home, you’d have noticed Tash & Nikki making a bit of noise on a Friday morning. They have been hitting the airways across the Coast alongside the legends Matty Baseley and Gina Jeffreys for the Central Coast Weekender segment on the Star 104.5 Breakfast Show.

Gina & Matty have found themselves in an absolute powerhouse of a team for breakfast radio, with the help of their producer Caitlin and the entire Star family behind them, they continue to produce engaging and award winning content week after week.

We have been so proud to be a part of the Star 104.5 family since July this year, when we partnered with them after discovering the shared community values we hold. As the only regional station in the Nova family, they truly are the champions of our local region and we couldn’t think of a more suited match for Coasties Mag.

• Star 104.5 has more listeners than any other station (100,600 listeners per week). This is the first time in history that any Central Coast station has achieved over 100,000 listeners per week
• Star 104.5’s Matty & Gina are the #1 Breakfast show (SLM 18.6%); the fourth year in a row that Star 104.5 has achieved the #1 Breakfast show.
• Star 104. 5’s Matty & Gina are the most listened to Breakfast show on the Central Coast (69,000), increasing their audience by almost 7,000 listeners per week since launching the show in January this year.
• Star 104.5 is the #1 station for all day parts – Matty & Gina at Breakfast (18.6%), Mornings with Adam Price (17.5%), Afternoons with Adam Price (19.0%), Drive with Meg Alexander (18.7%), Evenings (19.6%) and Weekends (19.2%).
• Star 104.5 is the #1 station for listeners aged 25-54 (SLM 22.4%) and has more listeners in that commercially critical age range than any other station on the Central Coast.
• Star 104.5 won an ACRA this year for Most Creative Sales Solution (Non Metro) for their work on Archibald by ALAND, as well as being a finalist in five other categories.
