Enjoy Summer@ The Art House, Wyong these school holidays.
Summer’s in full swing and so is the entertainment lineup of Summer@ The Art House, Wyong – the Coast’s epicentre for arts and culture.
So far the season has seen several sell-out shows wowing Central Coast audiences both young and old. Not that this comes as any surprise after last year’s uber-successful Summer. Art House Executive Director Anne-Marie Heath commented before the season kicked off that patrons can also expect a series of fun and affordable activations and shows.
“The venue will be undergoing its usual summer makeover and we’re also planning a series of fun activities, like our courtyard sausage sizzle, free performances from local musicians, arts and crafts and some surprises, so visitors can really make the most of their theatre experience,” Heath said.

So, what is still to come?
For the final three weeks of the program, families can catch Trinket the Robot, a modern version of Pinocchio, about a robot who wants to become human.
Rock ‘n’ roll fans (or just those who love Aussie legend, Rob ‘Millsy’ Mills!) can catch the crowd-pleaser taking on all the famous hits of Bon Jovi in Rob Mills Performs The Songs of Bon Jovi, while comedy lovers can catch Tommy Little as he once again sets to sell out The Art House with his new show Tommy Little – I’m Not Proud.
To cap it all off with a bang is the highly anticipated brand-new, re-vamped, and star-studded production of The Pirates of Penzance in collaboration with Hayes Theatre Co. This new take on the Gilbert & Sullivan classic is led by Jay Laga’aia with 4 other brilliant actor/musicians who will take on the entire cast and orchestra themselves. This is Pirates of Penzance like it’s never been seen before! The Central Coast will be the first audiences ever to see this new production so join the red-carpet premiere of this brilliant musical.

While the grown-ups have been entertained by Aussie comedy legend Lehmo, hilarious hypnotist Matt Hale, and music by jazz trio The Necks and the glitzy banging tunes of Catherine Alcorn, Verushka Darling and Jean Kittson in Bangers & Mash.
