No cake design is to much for the talented Kyla, who is based in Gosford. She creates everything from simple and delicious cupcakes to towering birthday cakes to theme. This is also a walk-in cupcake shop if you fancy trying before you buy something bigger.

From stunning wedding cakes to the fanciest birthday cakes in town, Charlie and Bella Cupcakes create the prettiest cakes we ever did see. The owners use high-grade produce so the cakes are delicious inside and out. And they offer gluten-free and vegan options also.

It’s better known as being one of the most popular walk-in bakeries on the Central Coast, attracting a queue that stretches down the street most weekends. But Burnt Honey Bakery in Copacabana also create custom-made cakes for all special occasions. Fancy a cake with something a bit cheeky written on it? The owners aren’t afraid to push the bakery-good boundaries.

Over in Niagara Park is the wonderful Cake & Plate, run by two friends with a true love of baking. Their range of birthday cake creations is vast, with their signature cake definitely being heavenly frosted and towering. We’d highly recommend for wedding cakes as well as birthdays. They also run workshops if you want to learn how to make your own cake.

Found in Killarney Vale, Baked with Grace creates some truly outstanding kid’s birthday cakes. From Spiderman to unicorn cakes, and everything in between. She also does DIY cookie kits for kids at home.

Once a purely online cake making business, Wyong Cake Palace is now a walk-in cake shop in Wyong. You can order a custom cake for birthdays, weddings and, really, any special occasion. Or get their DIY cupcake kits delivered straight to your door, which is the perfect rainy day activity with kids.

Perfect for 18 and 21st birthdays. There’s also dessert boxes which are the perfect gift.

We absolutely adore the mini Bento cake by Yummy Delicious Cakes, which is perfect for smaller celebrations. It’s enough for four and looks incredibly cute.
