Grove Studios Open Day | Somersby | Saturday, April 22
Located in our very own backyard paradise at Somersby, is Grove Studios, an iconic music studio with a tonne of history you probably didn’t know. The studio was built in the eighties by INXS’ bassist Garry Gary Beers and over the years has become one of Australia’s leading creative hubs.
From being the perfect haven for retreats and live music events to being the creative mecca behind many notable albums by some of Australia’s leading acts. Think Silverchair, Courtney Barnett, Ocean Alley, The Presets, DMA’s, Eskimo Joe, Birds of Tokyo and more.
Add to the list of things you (maybe) didn’t know about the Grove is that you can study a Diploma of Music (Sound Production). Which is why they are holding an open day on Saturday, April 22. The day is perfect for anyone interested in the courses, but also open to the public. There’ll be tour of our iconic music studios and heaps of opportunities to ask questions.
