Long Jetty Festival 2023 is a resounding success.

Sunday, March 12 saw crowds of 20,000 plus locals of the Central Coast flock to Long Jetty for the Long Jetty Festival.  The family-friendly, community event took over the foreshore, Toowoon Bay Road, Tuggerah Parade and Thompson Streets.  It included 4 music stages, markets, a Bark Park and activations including speed painting, yoga, aerial experiences, a skateboard clinic, a karaoke comp as well as an entire zone and stage dedicated to the kids and more.

Often events spruik that they have something for everyone, but trust us, there was no spruiking here this was truly the case at LJF in 2023.  Eventgoers were treated to an array of entertainment, shopping, food and activity options.  Thankfully the weather Gods turned it on (even though there were some serious storm clouds looming).  Overall the vibe on the day amongst the crowds was one of excitement and enthusiasm for great community events like this one.

“We’ve been blown away by the community support for the Long Jetty Festival,” event organisers Steve Sewell and Matt Wise of Kingdom Sounds said.

Co-organised by Hart Events and Kingdom Sounds the event attracted sponsorship from over 20 different local and national businesses as well as collaboration from the majority of local Long Jetty businesses, emerging artists and bands as well as household names Meg Mac and The Rubens as headliners.

“We couldn’t have dreamed up a better day if we tried. The event was a resounding success with an estimated  20,000 +  people attending on Sunday.”

Matt said: “We could not have pulled the day off without the hard work from our team, the sponsors, vendors, artists, volunteers and of course everyone who came down on the weekend. See you next year!”

Event co-organiser Liz Hart of Hart Events said: “Our team did an absolutely phenomenal job to deliver this epic day out for festival goers, who’ve been treated to an array of activities and entertainment.”
Both teams Hart Events and Kingdom Sounds along with so many others worked away tirelessly for months to deliver this festival and can be proud of what they have achieved.
“I couldn’t be more proud of how it’s come together. It’s so great to see the community out and about enjoying themselves. The vibe was so epic all day.” Said Liz.
We’re not sure about you, but we here at Coasties cannot wait for next year and to bring you all the happenings as they happen for LJF 24.
