It’s been a long time coming, but the talk of Gosford’s skyline has finally thrown open its doors! Launching in December 2025 with a party of epic proportions, voco Gosford and The Archibald Precinct are bringing a fresh new buzz to the Coast – part hotel, part dining destination, part “am I still in Gosford?” (you are, and she’s looking gooood!).
With six restaurants and bars, menus by celebrity chef Dany Karam and Michelin-trained Maxime Chasseriaud, and the largest newly built hotel on the Central Coast in more than a decade, the precinct is shaping up to be something special. It’s a bold, cosmopolitan addition that finally gives Gosford CBD the kind of energy we’ve all been waiting for.
The launch party that lived up to the hype

We were lucky enough to attend the grand launch party, and it was every bit as fun as you’d imagine – and then some! The night unfolded as a progressive-style party, moving up through the building to show off the distinct vibes of the Lobby Bar, Pool Bar and Astra, with a sneaky look inside the hotel rooms (so textural and airy).
Golden hour on level 5 brought its own moment, with the pool glowing as the sun dipped & everyone taking the opportunity to snap some pics. Then it was up to level 28, where Astra absolutely stole the show. Sky-high cocktails, insanely fresh sashimi prepared right in front of us (actual heaven), and that view reminding us just how beautiful the Central Coast is.

As the sun dipped and the rooftop filled, the energy went up a notch. Sneaky Sound System hit the decks and the whole place turned into a proper party – dancing, hands in the air, it felt buzzy, glamorous & celebratory.

With more than 250 guests, big names on the guest list and Gosford showing off its glow-up, the launch felt like a line in the sand for the Coast. Not just a hotel opening, but a real statement that Gosford has arrived – and honestly, we’re here for it.
Stay, eat, repeat: voco Gosford redefines Central Coast accommodation and dining

The Central Coast dining scene has gotten a shake up. And at the top of it all sits Astra, the Central Coast’s highest rooftop bar and Japanese-inspired izakaya on Level 28.
The team here are serving a fire-driven fine-dining menu.,which means you can expect premium meats and seafood seared over a hibachi grill, finished in a charcoal oven, and layered with deep, smoky flavour.
Paired with cocktails that look as good as the view, Astra has fast become the hot spot for sunset drinks on the Central Coast.

Downstairs, the rest of The Archibald Precinct is just as impressive. Ironbark steakhouse brings a woodfired take on modern Australian fare; Paolo’s goes all-in on handmade pasta and trattoria-style Italian; and Archie’s is the kind of pub that could easily become your new local.
Add in the Pool Bar & Lounge, complete with the swim-up bar of our dreams, and you’ve got a resort moment without leaving the Coast.

Andrew Hrsto, ALAND Founder and Director, expressed his enthusiasm for the project, saying, “This is the first time since 2007 that a major new-build hotel has opened on the Central Coast, and as part of the $375 million Archibald by ALAND mixed-use development, it’s going to change the face of the city.”
He added, “We’re thrilled to be working with IHG to launch the seventh voco® hotel in Australasia and the second regional NSW voco® property. This marks a significant milestone not just for us, but for the region.”

Just one hour from Sydney, voco Gosford and The Archibald Precinct will attract visitors to the region – but we know it’s locals who’ll really make it come alive.
Bookings for the hotel and restaurants open 12 November, with the doors officially opening 1 December 2025.
This one’s definitely worth the hype.
