However, the clinic is so much more than just a pretty face. Rather fitting as Dr Shaunna’s approach to cosmetic procedures is so much more than a nip and tweak to perfection.
Since opening in 2021 in Forresters Beach, You by Dr Shaunna Watts has become the most innovative on the Central Coast. Offering cutting-edge procedures, and a holistic approach to beauty transformations.

Run by Dr Shauna and her husband, Dr Peter McGimpsey, the pair were already highly sought-after and established medical clinicians based in Erina before opening the clinic.
Their approach is unique, believing that the current well-worn revolving-door approach to cosmetic treatments needs to be replaced with a deeper understanding of patient and their personal beauty goals.
Dr Shaunna explains, “I never treat any patient without having first established a treatment plan together. I see too often in this industry how poor treatment planning leads to poor outcomes.
“This is a doctor-led clinic and we have a doctor here every day ensuring the highest standards. By planning our patients’ aesthetic journey, and taking full responsibility for their results, we ensure a positive and empowering experience for all our patients.”
Found within The Quarters Forresters Beach, the list of cosmetic beauty procedures is expansive. There are the usuals, like anti-wrinkle and fillers, but also bespoke skin treatments like skin resurfacing, thread lifts and the famous PRP facial.
“Recently we released our 12 Week Skin and Body Transformation, a new program that consists of a 60 minute assessment and lifestyle plan by one of our highly experienced doctors,” explains Dr Shaunna.
“It involves an easy eating plan from renowned dietitian and nutritionist Nicole Saliba from EatSense in Gosford, TruSculpt ID with our cutting edge, painless, fat burning treatment. An exercise plan, MediLUX light therapy, three of our Signature facial rejuvenation treatments, and a private Facebook group to keep you on track. It has limited availability and has been incredibly popular.”
The couple are undoubtedly on a quest to raise the bar of cosmetic excellence on the Central Coast, and while many patients joke they could never work with their husband, Dr Shaunna says it is their strength.
