We welcome an all-female lineup across two epic nights, let’s meet the artists bringing the tunes for Fade into You.
Coasties Mag are proud to bring these events to you, as part of the inaugural Tubular Festival, two nights of incredible music from an all-female lineup. These events have been carefully curated to bring the best of the best of female artists, to two intimate venues. Welcoming all-ages, this is a great way to introduce your family to the live music scene here on the Central Coast.
At the first night in Avoca, kids under 12 can attend free (when accompanied by an adult) and concession tickets for peeps aged 13-18 years just $20.
We wanted to learn more about the artists coming to these events, so we’ve asked them a few questions to understand where their love of music originated from. They also each provide you with a reason why YOU should join us at the Fade into You!

What is it about being a songwriter that you find so addictive?
Songwriting allows for you to channel your subconscious into art, it’s a divine process that can turn any feeling, thought or story into a new form that can be received by others. That process and its payoff are what make songwriting so fulfilling and life giving.
What do you love about living on the Central Coast?
The Coast has the best of all worlds – beautiful natural phenomena as well as a flourishing community of creatives. The coast has a long way to go in music, but one of its biggest strengths are the amazing creative people who are helping to build our music scene upwards.
Who are your favourite Central Coast-based artists?
The Coast has a large array of talented artists using music to connect people, artists and bands like Tiali, Shacked, Turtle Custard and Micah Jesse are helping to pave the way for young musicians, and grow our region’s love of music.
What are your favourite places to hang out on the Coast and why?
Places like the Link & Pin have nurtured a new scene of art lovers and musicians, bringing back the sense of live music that has been somewhat lost. As well as that, we obviously have beautiful bushwalks and beaches that bring an instant calmness into the most chaotic of days.
Why should people come to Fade Into You?
Because it will be a night filled with the music of powerful women, each and every one having their own unique sound that reflects their experiences and love of music. The night will celebrate women in music and all we have to offer, which is a lot, and anyone who attends is sure to have a night to remember.

What is it about being a songwriter that you find so addictive?
Songwriting for me is therapeutic. It’s a way for me to retell stories and connect on a deeper level. I think my head would explode if I didn’t get all of that stuff out haha. It’s more of a necessity than an addiction.
What do you love about living on the Central Coast?
I have grown up here on the Coast and it’s a big part of who I am. The beaches, cafes, nature, people and the community we have built here is incredible. No matter how often I have to travel for gigs or music I always love coming back and getting to call this beautiful place my home.
Why should people come to Fade Into You?
I’m super proud to be a part of this event. I love that it’s an all female lineup and that there’s a big focus on supporting homegrown artists. These are areas in the music industry that I wish were celebrated more! It would be really special if people came to this show to support both of those things.

What is it about being a songwriter that you find so addictive?
When I write, it’s like I’m tapping into something otherworldly. Sometimes I don’t have any recollection of writing my songs. I think that, and the fact that is my therapy, is why it is an addictive experience for me.

What is it about being a songwriter that you find so addictive?
I find the most addictive part of songwriting is being able to write from my own experiences and share them with people in hopes that they find relatability within them. I think the most comforting thing in hardship or in an uncomfortable situation is finding relatability and knowing people are also experiencing these things alongside you, and I love that I can do that through music.
What do you love about living on the Central Coast?
I’ve lived on the Central Coast my whole life and I’ve always loved the community and connection here. The saying “it’s a small world” is very true around here and I love going out and always seeing someone you know! While some people may hate that idea, I really enjoy being a part of the large circle of familiar faces on the Coast.

Absolutely all of the artists who are performing at Fade Into You take my top places. They are amazing and I’ve loved watching them succeed. Some of my other fave bands would have to be smrt casual and Bonic.
