It’s back, baby! The Central Coast Christmas Fair is returning for 2025 – and it’s bigger, brighter and more festive than ever!
If you’ve been missing your annual dose of Christmas magic, this is the one you don’t want to miss. For one glorious day, Gosford Showgrounds will transform into a Christmas wonderland, complete with markets, live music, food trucks, and of course, a visit from the big man in red. It’s a proper Coastie tradition and the perfect way to start getting in the spirit nice and early.
Central Coast Christmas Fair 2025

The Central Coast’s largest outdoor Christmas market is coming to Gosford Showgrounds on Saturday 29 November.
From 9am to 3pm, you can wander through more than 100 market and food stalls packed with local makers, creators and small businesses. You’ll find handmade gifts, fashion, jewellery, homewares, candles, plants, Christmas decorations, sweet treats and so much more. Bring your Christmas shopping list – and your own personal wishlist – because you’re guaranteed to find something special at these Christmas markets. And you’ll be supporting local at the same time. Win-win!
But, don’t shop til you drop – if you need to refuel, there are plenty of food vendors across the grounds. There’ll be everything from classic festival feeds to international flavours, sweet indulgences, and barista coffee to keep the energy up. Grab a bite, find a seat (we recommend in front of the stage), and revel in the festive atmosphere.

That’s right -the main stage will be buzzing all day with live entertainment. Local performers belting out Chrissy carols, plenty of singing and dancing, and the kind of festive cheer that’ll have you humming Jingle Bells all the way home.
But that’s not all! Between 9am and 11am, keep an eye out for the delightful singing and dancing elves and the gingerbread man, spreading Christmas joy (and candy canes) around the grounds.

Then from 11am right through until 3pm, Santa himself will be in town! Get those wish lists ready and snap a photo with the big guy before he heads back to the North Pole. Little tip: have your cameras ready – the line for Santa always fills up fast!
Kids will have an absolute ball. There’s free face painting, sideshow games, and giant lawn games to play. It’s the kind of day where they can run, laugh, and play while you sneak in a bit of shopping or a well-earned sit-down.

There’s plenty of space and heaps of shade at the Showground too, so bring a picnic blanket or a few camp chairs and make yourself comfy. It’s an easy one for families, and with the gold coin entry fee, it’s budget-friendly too – more spare change for that handmade fudge or new Christmas ornament you definitely need.
The Central Coast Christmas Fair has become one of the most-loved events on the local calendar. It’s the kind of day that brings everyone together — families, friends, couples, even the dog (yep, it’s pet-friendly!). After being cancelled last year, this year’s return is shaping up to be one of the biggest yet, with organisers promising even more stalls, food, and festive spirit than before.

Grab the Santa hats and make your way to Gossy Showground for a day full of fun, laughter and all the Chrissy feels. It’s the kind of event that captures what makes the Coast feel like home – and it’s so good to have it back!
