Santa Photos: Where To Get Them 2023

Yes, it’s that time of year again! Eek we’re feeling ya, how are we already talking about Christmas?  But, hot on everyone’s lips is where to get the fam’s Chrissy snaps. For those of you, like us, who aren’t that organised…you may already feel like you’re too late to the ‘Santa photo party’ as it turns out by now (already!) there are a fair few photographers that are fully booked –   but never fear Coasties we have you covered.  There are still a bunch of photographers who have availability to do your Santa photos on the Central Coast.

Here’s a handy list of the best places (that have availability atm) for you to get your festive Christmas and Santa pictures taken.  We’ve included a range of Central Coast Photographers so you can get the whole family involved including the furry children.

SANTA PHOTOS CENTRAL COAST 2023

1. Bowie Brown Photography’s “You Beaut” Christmas Photos

This year, the wonderful family photographer, dog-lover and Central Coast woman at heart Amy is teaming up with local businesses to create “You Beaut” Christmas Photos – expert and heartfelt Christmas photos set in a variety of stunning waterside locations across the Central Coast and Lake Macquarie Region.

2. Central Coast Santa

Head down to North Avoca Beach and spend some time with Santa as the glistening coastline serves as the perfect photo backdrop. If you’ve worked up a sweat after your photoshoot you can head down to the beach for a dip afterwards. It’s a win-win.

3. Santa Haus

Another favourite, the Santa Haus crew have been making magical memories for over 10 years by inviting families to get their festive snaps down by the beach. In addition to Santa photos they also offer some really fun services that come with all the trimmings. 4. Shoot the Pooch

Join photographer and all time dog lover Amanda as she effortlessly captures your family including your fur babies in a fun Christmas mini shoot.  Because as Amanda puts it “Why should the kids take up all the wall space?”, our dogs bring us endless joy and companionship and as most dog owners would attest, are 100% part of our families.

5. Santa Paws

There is evidently a theme this year with our pets being included in our Christmas and Santa photos here on the Central Coast.

We love the team at Santa Paws who have opened for business this year to snap Christmas photos of your whole family including all pets! Yes, we’re talking furry, feathered and even scaley.

7. Erina Fair 

Nothing says Christmas quite like the traditional local shopping centre Santa Photos. 

Here on the Central Coast, we love our friends over at Erina Fair the best.  They have packages where (again) you can bring your furry friends but what we love the most is that they also have Sensitive Santa sessions.  These sessions with Santa are to ensure that taking Santa Photos is inclusive and are available for families of children with special needs.

You’re able to book your photo sessions right up til Christmas Eve.  But spaces are filling fast and we do suggest booking ahead of time.

8. Oak Street Images – Santa in the Bush

Although most of the timeslots for this year are booked out, it’s worth checking their website and jumping on the cancellation list. Each year over 250 Central Coast families flock to get their Santa Photos taken with Oak Street Images for their annual  ‘Santa In The Bush’ photoshoot. Because after all, nothing says Aussie Christmas quite like your favourite jolly man in the surrounds of our lush, natural bushland.

As always the photos are being shot in the stunning landscape of Cowan, and will feature a big red Chevy truck for the sleigh.
