Yes, you guessed it, Avoca Pets isn’t just another pet store. Greg’s vision is to build a community, and with Avoca Pets already being behind the wildly wholesome (and very much loved) Dogs of Avoca Facebook page, he’s on the right track. For those who’ve yet to discover Dogs of Avoca, well, you’re in for a treat. Picture a little online corner where local dog owners share snaps, celebrate birthdays, swap advice, and collectively “awww” over every new furry face in town. What started as a fun idea quickly grew into something where locals feel a wonderful sense of belonging, a true celebration of the pets that make Avoca feel like the friendly village it is.

Greg’s hope is for the shop to echo the Facebook page and to become a proper neighbourhood hangout, the kind of place you pop into for a chat, a browse and maybe a sneaky treat for the pup. Like with all passion projects, it’s been years in the making and was born from a simple idea that our pets deserve the good stuff, the thoughtful stuff, the kind of products you can feel good about buying. After all, if we’re honest, most of our pets absolutely become members of our families.

There’s no filler here. Greg is as meticulous as he is enthusiastic; every single item on the shelves has been considered, tested, researched and approved. If he wouldn’t give it to his own dog, it doesn’t make the cut.
