The Top Places for Sushi on the Coast
Whether it’s due to the coastal salt water in our blood, or the diligent mastery of our talented Japanese chefs, us Coasties love our sushi. Fresh nigiri, fried tempura and other favourites both classic and modern are crowd favourites amongst us Coasties, were we find it equally as good when it’s fancy as when it’s cheap and fancy-free. Here’s our favourite spots on the Central Coast for sushi.Â
1. Yume Modern Japanese Restaurant, Erina
Taste the passion of Japanese cuisine with Yume
In Japanese, ‘Yume‘ means ‘Dream’. Definitely a fitting name for a restaurant where you can taste the passion head chef Stanley Song puts into his personally purchased and prepared ingredients. In these exquisite dishes, including his signature seared Wagyu beef sushi alongside other modern Japanese dishes, you can really taste the years Song spent studying under Japanese cuisine master Taka San before following his own creative dream.
