ANZAC day is a time to honour and acknowledge the service of all those who have aided in the defence of our nation, and this year on Thursday, April 25th, it’s spirit can be shared at many significant locations on the Central Coast. Here is a list of beautiful ANZAC services you can attend.
Anzac Day Events on the Central Coast

Gosford RSL Club
Gosford services are back in Gosford Memorial Park this year beside it’s beautiful cenotaph.  Participants are asked to assemble near Gosford Police station for a 5:45 start to the march, before commencing the Dawn Service in the park at 6am. Breakfast will follow at Gosford RSL and we expect it to be bigger than ever this year with the new premises only just re-opening!
The Main Service begins with an assembly on Donnison street, and includes the fall in at 10:15, the March along Mann Street at 10:30 and the Service at Cenotaph starting at 11.
Terrigal Beach
The Terrigal march begins at 4:45am in front of the Terrigal police station in Church Street, and will lead participants to the dawn service held beside the Terrigal Foreshore War Memorial. This service will commence at 5:30am. Afterwards, a gunfire breakfast will be served at the surf club.
Later in the day, at the Breakers Country Club War Memorial in Wamberal, a main service will be held at 10:30am
Davistown RSL Club
The Davo’s dawn service will be held from 6:00am in the Memorial Hall, with breakfast available at 6:30. Stick around the rest of the day for the live entertainment (12:30pm to 3:30pm) or the Two-Up on from 1pm to 4pm in the auditorium.

- Empire Bay Cenotaph, Sorrento Road, Empire Bay 11am

- Memorial Park and Cenotaph, Marine Parade, The Entrance 5:30am and 11:50am
- The Ary, Holmes Avenue, Toukley 5:30am and 10:30am

Two-up
If you’re after flurry in the two-up ring, here is a list of establishments offering it this year;

- Central Coast Leagues Club – Scenic Lounge 2:00pm – 5:00pm
- Club Umina from 10am-12pm

- The Ary, Toukley, 12pm
- Hotel Gosford – are transforming their beer garden into the biggest 2-Up Arena on the Coast! Plus, you can enjoy a menu of Aussie-inspired eats, chilled pints and a killer playlist. Doors open from 7am – Entry is FREE all day.

They have an ANZAC Day Raceday event being held from 11am until 5pm. First race at 12:30pm, with 8 races running throughout the day.
Kids under 12 years have free entry and they have plenty of free activities to keep them entertained; pony rides, face painting, jumping castle and lawn games.
ANZAC Day activities include two-up in the beer garden, an ANZAC Day reenactment group and the last post.
There is also a free shuttle running a continuous loop from Gosford Bus Station to the Grounds.
