Thankfully, we’ve found some real gems on the Coast who absolutely nail these delish rolls. We share the top dogs and best bánh mì’s on the Central Coast.

Taking out top spot, nestled in the heart of Gosford along Mann Street, many claim this central bakery provides the best bánh mì on the Central Coast. Especially the pork rolls. We’ve heard rumours of people travelling an hour just to get them – seriously.

Our hot tip – this is a cash only joint so come prepared.

 

Hot Bread Shop, Umina

Aside from also creating some wicked Beef Pho, the delicious Hot Bread Shop in Umina is a great place to grab a fresh and filling bánh mì roll for under $10. The service is always friendly and the rolls on point.

The locals (and beyond) were raving when this opened! Yes, it’s a franchise, but this is fast food you’ll want to savour slowly. They pride themselves on authenticity, with a simple menu to highlight their fresh ingredients, and you can find them in Kincumber Village.

Hot tip: get yourself the crispy pork banh mi – it’s got that perfect crunch and zing combo that dreams are made of!⁠

Trinhy’s Truck, Wadlaba

Wanting to share their love of banh mi with the world Trinhy and Aiman started their Vietnamese Food Truck, Trinhy’s Food Truck way back in 2015.  And their love has certainly translated into deliciousness with a capital D!

Based at 26 Quarterhorse Parade in Wadalba where they are mostly opening from 9am – 7pm, Monday through Friday. BUT please call or text your order through, and keep updated with socials as these guys also offer catering!  This means you have an event and they can come to you!

Despite the eponymously named croissants being fantastic, this small family-run business in Gosford is also well known for its superb bánh mì.
