Well hello, Christmas our old friend, it’s so nice to see you.  Is it just us, or do the decorations seem to be going up earlier and earlier each year? I mean, we’re big fans of the festive season, but it definitely has an anxiety-inducing impact! 

If you haven’t already, now is probably the time to start Christmas tree planning.  As always we’ve done the homework for you. Here is a full list of where you can find real Christmas trees on the Central Coast, as well as for those who don’t want to deal with the mess, forever faux ones that’ll last year after year.

Real Christmas Trees Central Coast

1. Rotary Christmas Trees

Raising money for “Grandparents raising Grandchildren” and other Rotary projects makes buying a real Christmas Tree from the Central Coast Rotary Clubs a really special way to give back to the community. Based at handy locations all over the Central Coast means getting a real Christmas tree for your family this year is accessible for all.

But, a serious word of warning. They always sell out!  When they say from 7am what they actually mean is: that you need to get there well before 7am to get a spot in line.  There’ll be no sauntering in with your B + E roll and coffee in hand at 7am or you will miss out.

Happening over two weekends November 30 – December 1 and December 7 – 8.

2. Tumbi Christmas Tree Farm, Tumbi Umbi

This year the secret Tumbi Christmas Tree Farm is back.

Owner Sue has confirmed that they will be receiving a load of freshly cut trees that will be available for sale, alongside the trees from their crops.

Delighted to welcome local Central Coast families back to their little farm to enjoy a bit of Christmas cheer in Sue’s words;

“Follow the signs as you turn off Tumbi Road, the parking is easy, bring the kids and the whole family, enjoy a play at the park, a fun Christmas buggy ride, get your tree and all the accessories you need all in one location!”

Having visited the Tumbi Christmas Tree Farm in past years we can confirm that this is a really special experience for the whole family to enjoy.

3. Central Coast Flower Markets, Erina Heights

With a range of Christmas trees from 5ft through to 9ft available this year from the Central Coast Flower Markets in Erina, online pre-ordering (with a deposit) is now open via their website (or over the phone). Prices starting from $99.

4. Bambino’s

Bambinos at Kulnura is keeping the beloved Christmas tree tradition alive and teaming up with the much-loved Central Coast Christmas Tree Farm! While primarily our very well known citrus farm and fruit juice company, they’ll be selling fresh, pre-cut Christmas trees on select days this holiday season.

Trees will be available on a first-come, first-served basis (no pre-booking) during the following dates: 29–30 November and 1, 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15 December. Session times are from 8–11am in the morning and 1–4pm in the afternoon. Please note there’s no sales during their lunch break.

5. The Flower Hut, Green Point

Offering both cut and potted trees as well as delivery straight to your Central Coast door. The Flower Hut on Avoca Dr has been selling Christmas trees on the Central Coast for over 35 years so they know what they’re doing.  During the early weeks in December, and right up until Christmas Eve (or until stocks last) they’ll be bringing in trees for Coasties to purchase.

6. Simply Mad About Christmas, Tuggerah

Family owned and operated right here on the Central Coast since 2009 Simply Mad About Christmas is an all-singing mega-sparkly Christmas shop that sells fake Christmas trees of all sizes and colours. You could go for a traditional, or mix it up with a bright purple or blue. It’s your Christmas so you can roll exactly the way you wish.

7. Christmas Warehouse, Erina

Yes, it’s a warehouse filled with everything you might need during the festive period, including fake Christmas trees. But beware, the likelihood of just leaving Christmas Warehouse with a Christmas tree is rare. You’ll be squeezing a life-size Santa, a tonne of tinsel and singing reindeer into the boot of your car before you can say ‘Santa Baby’.
