1. Three Donkeys Wholefood Cafe, Wamberal
This pocket-rocket of a cafe, found in the backstreets of Wamberal, is packed with some of the healthiest fare you’ll find on the Coast. Most come to Three Donkey’s Wholefood Cafe for the multicoloured lattes, ranging from beetroot to matcha, but for us it’s the smoothie bowls. Pretty as a picture and packed full of the good stuff, like nut butter, raw honey and bee pollen. It’s a thing.
2. The General Store Norah Head
The menu at The General Store Norah Head is crammed with gluten-free and vegan-friendly bites, making meal time for those with an intolerance a joy rather than a disappointment. We’re big fans of the plant-based buckwheat waffles that are delightfully showy. Seriously, they’re stacked high, jewelled-up with raspberry meringue shards and dripping in coyo ice-cream. The ruling master of the menu, for sure.
3. InnerGlow Kiosk
Once only an online juice store, InnerGlow Goodness arrived in real life form in Ettalong as InnerGlow Kiosk just before Christmas. And ever since, their iconic nutrient-dense juices and salads sell out almost every day. And while a cheese toastie might not be the healthiest eat in town, the IGK team do one of the best on the Coast. Packed with sweet cherry tomatoes and a house relish. For those comfort food days.
4. Bay Organics, Toowoon Bay
Looks may deceive as Bay Organics much more than just a juice bar. In fact, it’s one of the few spots along the Toowoon strip that has indoor seating. So grab a pew and enjoy everything this Central Coast organic cafe has to offer. We’re talking sourdough toast topped with zucchini relish, cucumber and cashew cheese drizzle, to name just one winner off the breakfast menu. Pure joy.
5. This Little Piggy, Point Clare
There are veggies, and there are This Little Piggy veggies. Each dish is packed with all the deliciousness of chargrilled eggplant, beetroot relish, crispy snow pea tendrils and all the herbs. Talk about levelling  it all the way up. Seriously, you will easily hit your five a day well before noon when you visit this cute little nook of a cafe. (thislittlepiggyeatanddrink.com.au

6. Soul Chai, Erina
A bit of a hidden gem, Soul Chai found on the backstreets of Erina close to Anytime Fitness, this café might be teeny weeny in size but it is ginormous in its health offering. All vegan, all fresh and all super satisfying. The coffee is tremendous as is the freshly baked vegan raspberry cake. A bit like a Lamington but healthier. Also, there’s two treatment rooms out the back for remedial massage. Go on, you deserve it.
7. Flour & Co., Toowoon Bay
For those with a sweet tooth, this is your place. Flour & Co. is always stocked up with freshly made raw treats. A personal favourite of ours is the raw lemon cheesecake. It tastes like a sin, but is packed with all the good stuff. And you’ll never be served a bad cup of coffee here, either. The outrageously happy team are particular about their beans and it pays off. A true all rounder.
8. Bamboo Buddha, Holgate
Nestled in the rainforest, Bamboo Buddha is the most unique Central Coast cafe you’ll ever find. The menu is jampacked with only vegan and vegetarian meals, incredible coffee and freshly made smoothies and juices. A great spot for children also as there’s a pond full of fish ready to be fed.
Congratulation!
