On the 29th of October 2022, Bark Park is transforming Gosford Waterfront into an awesome day out for dog lovers and their furry friends. From 2pm, Bark Park 2022, the first of its kind, will be a celebration of all things dogs, beer, food, music and fun. Pups and their families can browse the 20+ market stalls hosted by pet-loving businesses.
Bark Park will have an array of wail-tagging activities lined up; frolicking in the Star FM Ball Pit Pawty, enjoying relaxing doggy massages, treating themselves with a delicious Pup Cup smoothie bowl (with all profits being donated to SoCares Animal Shelter), digging in the sandpit for free treats to splashing around at the mini shell pool party with a lifeguard on hand to ensure all the dogs are cooling off responsibly.
Whilst the pooches are mingling, sniffing about or sipping their dogachinos, their humans can devour many of the food options available. There’ll be a pop-up bar brought to you by local favourites Six String Brewing Co. and Upstairs Wines for the humans. Not to be left out, for the pooches, Cute AF Pets will be pouring the Bark Park Brew dog beer, Puptails (puppy mocktails) and mermaid lattes. Kick back on a deck chair on the waterfront with a feed, a brew and your pup – magic!
Bark Park Central Coast
Who doesn’t love a kissing booth?! Local heroes Claws n Paws Rescue will be popping up a kissing booth fundraiser for their organisation. These legends rehome and foster not only dogs but cats and rabbits too. Our pals from Hunter Valley Animal Facility and Rehoming centre will be on site with some adorable pups that need a home. Pop by this legendary charity to hear about the good they’re doing – who knows, you might meet your next best friend!
Having a dog is a long-term responsibility so thanks to the Central Coast Council, owners and future-dog owners can discuss the do’s and don’ts of pet ownership – teaching public etiquette and safety. Teachers from some of our amazing local dog obedience schools
will offer owners helpful tips when it comes to training and handling puppies as well as teaching old dogs new tricks. Local hydrotherapy and performance specialists DogFit Conditioning and Performance are running two ‘Trick-for-a-Treat’ competitions before and during Bark Park. Your doggo doesn’t have to be good enough to join the circus or be able to fetch the TV remote, they just have to
have a crack! Over $800 in prizes to be won. Check out @barkparkau on Facebook or Instagram to enter.

Locals can also thank the Animal Referral Hospital (ARH) for sponsoring the Hydration Stations that pups can swig from throughout the day. They can also have a chat to the team about their services, and grab a cute bandana that has been sprayed with Adaptil; a calming
spray for your furry mate who may be a bit overwhelmed by the fun of Bark Park.
FairPlay will be bringing the good vibes on the Gypsy Caravan stage, with their local artists playing live music and headline act ‘Dingo’ appropriately finishing up our puppy party. Dogs and their humans can dance under the luminous festoon lights with the beautiful Gosford Waterfront as their backdrop – the perfect pic for the dog-gram until 8pm.
We haven’t forgotten the kids with free face painting from 2pm – 6pm thanks to Party Chameleon, and an old school fire truck on site from 4pm showing the kids (and pups) all about fire safety leading into summer.
Bark Park 2022
Whilst we are all about pure doggy fun at Bark Park, there are some rules to help make the day go smoothly for all. All dogs must be on a lead and under control by their human. Despite our fun name, we won’t be tolerating any aggressive barking or behaviour, and the Bark Park ‘Brawl Patrol’ will ask you and your pup to leave. We want a fun, safe day for everyone. While it is exciting, all humans must pick up after their pooch. With huge thanks to the legends at PetSTOCK, there will be multiple sanitation stations throughout the event where you can grab a free poop bag.

Following Bark Park wrapping up at 8pm, the party kicks on with our official after-pawty being held at one of Gosford’s favourites bar, Lyons Den. The Den has an epic outdoor seating area where you can have a few cocktails with her pooch post-Bark Park. And if you dress your pooch up on the day at Bark Park, you go into the draw to win drink vouchers, so really your pooch is buying you a drink!
